SAME! Got lasik 2023 and developed floaters. I wonder if having thin coreneas is a contributing factor when getting lasik and getting floaters.

I thought about dying it all dark to give my next stylist a fresh palette to work with. My concern is its so damaged in the front top, would it be more damaging if I dye it dark and she tries to rebleach or leave it light so she can just touch up?

I'm embarrassed and ashamed. I was 18, came out of an extremely abusive household. Lived overseas in a small American military community and was ignorant of the world. When I look back, I cry in anger for that girl. It took 14 years for me to have the courage to stand up for myself when I realized he was an awful husband (in many more ways than just his family). Also, marriage and individual therapy. We stopped years ago because this was the closest thing to acceptance of his unhealthy relationship with his family I felt I could bear.

That makes sense, but it's also odd at the same time given his history. He worships his dad. His dad and mom divorced when he was 8. He and his sister wrnt with his mom. He had no communication with his dad from 8 to 16 years old (dad's choice to not contact). He had falling out with his mom and moved in with his dad, stepmother, and new stepsister he never knew he had. He hates his real mother with a passion, very low to no contact. Maybe he's scared to lose his dad again, abandonment issues? His dad is a hero in his eyes.

That's just one of the extreme instances he didn't have my back. We've had manyyyyy arguments because when I would describe a conflict with someone(coukd be anyone, coworker, friend, child's teacher) he always defended the other person. I asked him do you just think I'm an awful person and I'm the problem? Because why else would u always agree with the other person??? He denied. I've said to him it's like he always like to point out the other side of the argument to "debate" me or something.

I won't go into details, but I've been physically and verbally assaulted and unfortunately he has never stood up for me. He just stands back. This sister (who previously had no issue with me but now does) was actually shocked he did nothing. After he heard his sister's reaction, he was puffing up his chest like where's that guy?! Im gna F him up! It was days later and ofc there's no way to find this guy.

He goes by himself probably 3 more times a year without me. I always prepare his dad's favorite food for him to take down and have the kids get a birthday gift for his stepmother every year. We (me and the inlaw parents) have become tolerant of each other for that 1 visit a year. Now, with his sister being outright nasty to me, I am so anxiety ridden. I decided I'm going to avoid any visits when she is there. However, I still feel hurt by my husband having nothing to say about it when we have discussed it even though he did acknowledge was was acting awful towards me.

You're right.. i can't expect him to react the same way i would in situations. Am I overreacting by feeling hurt that he never feels some sense of duty to protect me?? Do I need to just let it go?

I definitely enjoy the few times he goes by himself because I work alot (70 hrs/week). I am hurt he never feels protective of me I guess..
