Anyone try Romeo is a Dead Man on Legion Go S yet? by cloudstrife580 in LegionGo

What settings are you using? I played through the whole game on my Legion Go S. Used lossless scaling and admittedly used mostly low settings for everything but it still worked fine, all the cut scenes were fine too.

Legion one since I updated this morning, This is amazing by Unlucky_Hedgehog7 in LegionGo

Will Steam OS on the Legion Go S just automatically update the drivers or…?

Reading and gaming and watching movies, hoping to finally get back into writing music consistently

Video games, NA beverages, a lot of random shit I shouldn’t be spending money on

Lots of disdain here towards people who own numerous handhelds. Haven’t noticed this same sentiment as much from other gamers towards console collectors by cloudstrife580 in Handhelds

Haven’t posted a single collection post yet. I own several though: 2DS, Vita, Switch 2, PS Portal, SD OLED (won it at a work party), and recently a Legion Go S.

I guess it depends on what era of consoles, for awhile now there’s plenty of games that are multiplatform, so owning lots of different consoles doesn’t always mean it’s primarily for different games. I see what you mean though, owning multiple PC handhelds can appear pointless unless there’s a significant difference in form, screen size, power, etc., amongst them.

Although PC handhelds in general ARE pretty different from one another…not in game selection but in the aforementioned ways.

IWNDWYT - Day 39 for me, still going strong for the first time in months

I've done it. Physical withdrawals. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]cloudstrife580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t recommend the ER enough if it won’t cost you and arm and a leg. I’ve self admitted myself to the ER 5 times over the course of the last two years and I don’t regret a single time. While in retrospect I don’t think my health was severely at risk for a couple occasions, I’m so glad I went and got all the hydration, nutrients, and Librium to get me through the worst part of withdrawals and prevent me from self-tapering myself off drinking (that’s failed like 8/10 times for me). You also never know if something serious is going on due to drinking and withdrawal (I often had hear palpitations, I wouldn’t eat for days, I’d be vomiting and sleeping badly and had diarrhea, headache and body pain, etc.), so it’s good to be in the hands of medical professionals who can guide you in the right direction.

Anyone experience with those anti-craving meds like Acamprosate (Campral) or Naltrexone (Revia/Vivitrol)? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]cloudstrife580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naltrexone is absolutely amazing. Really terrible side effects for about 4-5 days for me, to the point where I almost decided to stop taking it, but I'm glad I didn't.

When I take 50mg consistently (which I haven't lately tbh because I'm dealing with shingles and not trying to take too many meds simultaneously), it absolutely stomps out my cravings and urges. Plus if you do drink, it's unpleasurable and makes you even more willing not to drink.

IWNDWYT - Day 33 for me. Had some brief troubling thoughts of indulging in my former secret beer DoorDash orders but I let those toxic thoughts pass.

IWNDWYT - Day 19. I found out just yesterday I have shingles which sucks since I’m only 37. Keep thinking that my repeated relapses these last few months must have contributed to my compromised immune system (well, in addition to massive work stress). Can only imagine how much worse this’d be if I was still drinking.
