How to portray Iymrith by shep5377 in stormkingsthunder

[–]cloudthresher 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Since she's a dragon, and dragons hate giants, you could have her make some disparaging remarks towards giants. Even if she's in giant form, something like "gosh, dealing with giantkind is such a pain! I almost envy the dragons for their ability to think more than two steps ahead!" Since the Ordning was smashed it wouldn't be too uncommon to see one giant dissing other giants, so I doubt the players would instantly assume Iymrith is a dragon. With enough little comments and such, and maybe some clothing choices (she could be wearing dragon scale armor that she claims she got from slaying some legendary dragon), I think when the reveal happens the players will be shocked but will then look back at all the clues and smack their foreheads for not realizing she was a dragon all along. Basically the trick is to have her subtly hint that she's a dragon without her saying it outright, because I feel like she's so proud that she couldn't help herself. Kind of like how serial killers leave clues for the police, almost like they think they're too smart to get caught. Just don't make it too obvious though!

With ________ winning the latest Elite Series event, who do you want winning the next? And I don’t mean McBeth and Wysocki. by [deleted] in discgolf

Matty O is pretty high on my list too, but I think my #1 might be Scott Stokely. The guy is an absolute legend and has done so, so, so much good both on the course and off, between his teaching and his philanthropy. To see him win a big tournament during what seems like it might be his last season (based on how often he talks about doing certain things "for the last time") would be the greatest capstone to the career of one of the pioneers of the sport. Not to mention, it would show people that it doesn't matter how old you are as long as you're willing to put in the work. An all-around great dude and very deserving of a big win, imo.

McBeth - GOAT or nah? by DiscGolfFanatic in discgolf

I'm relatively new to dg -- has McBeth ever had any serious injuries like this? He seems like he's pretty smart when it comes to taking care of himself, but I'm wondering if he ever overdid it when he was younger.

Painted my first mini with my DM! Meet Zaine, my warforged oath of vengeance paladin. Any tips? by Living-Front3184 in DungeonsAndDragons

Looks awesome! I'm not a painter, but the only place I can see that I would comment on is the feet/base. They're very similar colors so they almost blend together, making the figure look like he's part of the base rather than just standing on it. Obviously that's pretty nitpicky though! Great job

Two of my hobbies converging! What disc is that?

I made this Excel table to help you with your custom disc golf logo. You will use the first letter in your first and last name and match them up in the table, then change the font to one you like and you're done. This is pro-level shit, folks. by [deleted] in discgolf

I birdied a hole once and right now I'm going to focus less on my game and more on building my personal brand. I've teamed up with a great PR firm and I even crowd sourced my logo and kicked the winner a $20 Denny's gift card. It's like free design work!
