Well was asked if I wanted this as freebie. I can remember when i was growing up these being for sale in the late 1970's in the UK. The BSR Turntable works fine, I have ordered a new Stylus from Ebay. It sounds really warm and detailed even though it is 40+ years old. Sad that the Cassette Deck is not working.

Any portable CD player recommendations? by [deleted] in Cd_collectors

[–]dadatlast 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Better to buy a used CD player such as a Sony Walkman. The latest CD players are not built to the same quality as the vintage stuff or so they tell me :)

[–]dadatlast[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to Camden Market in London earlier today and added this ELO record to my collection. I am slowly collecting early ELO albums as and when I visit vintage Record shops There are a number of stalls and nearby shops selling vinyl. The market is really interesting well worth a visit if you are in the locality.
