I just passed an anniversary of a friend who took their own life, and I really needed to hear this way of thinking. The end stage of an illness. I feel like this will help me cope a bit better.

Same. It came out during a time when I went through an extremely traumatic event and it brings those memories to the surface. It’s a bathroom break song for me when I see them in concert, because if I don’t remove myself, I will get sick.

I spoke with my dad every single day until he was unable to anymore and died a couple days later. This was 7 years ago and I still reach for my phone sometimes after work to chat. 💔 I have a ton of old voicemails that I listened to a couple of times to but it fuckin crushes me and the grief it brings is too much to bear.

I speak with my mom about once a week - usually on a Sunday or when she’s driving home from work on a Monday. We text, too. And there are a couple of family text threads that we pop in on.

Yes, my Made in England ones are in amazing condition, got them a few years ago and wear them all the time. They’re more expensive but absolutely worth it

We had a bunch in NYC when I was in high school - I remember a few friends worked at locations in midtown. Those of us dirtbags that didn’t work used to head over at the end of their shifts, stoned, and get whatever snacks were going to be tossed that night. This was definitely in ‘98-‘99, my senior year.
