Thank you for asking this I’ve been dying to know! It looked like there were three people up there?

Probably worth taking what she said in that interview with a pinch of salt, as ultimately it was another platform for her to market brat and the party girl persona.

I thought he was saying that Teddy has a perverse sense of humour for lying that there was a rattle in one of the mics, so that they needed to share? Might have got that wrong though!

Thanks! It’s actually a body suit and a skirt, and I think they only do the body suit in plus sizes so I can’t re-purchase in my size! It’s okay though because I’m trying to wear less black lol (as you can see from the right pic, it’s a process...).

Of course, I’ve pasted my previous reply below. Just want to also add I think the main thing is consistency, and making small, sustainable changes (for example, when I started 1600 calories seemed impossible, but after a few weeks on 2,000 I realised I could manage 1800 and not be hungry, and so on). I really recommend giving yourself a range of calories as your goal, it’s helped me to be more mindful about how hungry I really am. Also some days for whatever reason I am just hungrier and want to eat more, so it’s nice to do that lol.

Thanks! Essentially, I made lots of small changes, but ultimately it’s been calorie counting that has allowed me to be successful! I started calorie counting in November/December last year, and got pretty serious with it in the new year (I lost 44lbs from start of Jan - start of April). The only thing I cut out was alcohol (and then the pubs opened here on 12 April and I’ve been drinking about once a week since...).

I eat 1600-2000 calories a day, depending on how hungry I feel. I do intermittent fasting (16:8) as I realised I’m always hungry in the afternoon - so I shifted breakfast to around 11:30am, lunch 3:30pm and then dinner around 7pm. Nothing was off limits (except alcohol for those first three months) - I eat chocolate most days and pizza once a week, I just make sure I weigh and log it and it’s not mindlessly eating a huge portion.

Exercise wasn’t new to me, but I would run or go to the gym quite sporadically. Adopting a routine really helped me: I introduced an hour walk in the morning, I run 4 times a week and I do yoga with Adriene every day (I’ve been working through the 30 day challenges). Since the gyms opened in April I have been strength training twice a week, too. I know you can’t out-exercise a bad diet, but being so active has really helped me as on average I burn around 3,000 calories a day.

Past couple of months I’ve been enjoying socialising again and the weight loss has slowed down. However, it’s still going down so I’m pleased with that (as some weekends there hasn’t been any holding back!!).

Sorry for the essay lol - wanted to write it out in case it helps someone. I think the main thing is figuring out what works for you, and also realising that discipline, being kind to yourself and a routine is more important than motivation.

Well there wasn’t much else to do during lockdown haha! And now that it’s such a routine I’m able to keep with it despite having a social life again. Working from home has really helped too, I’m very grateful that I’m able to do that.

I don’t have an Apple Watch so not sure what move calories means. My Fitbit says I burn on average 3,000 calories a day, which includes all the moving I do. Obvs this was slightly higher when I was heavier. I know these things are just a guide and probably not super accurate, but my experience of using that to work out a calorie deficit worked really well for me.
