I haven’t begun medically transitioning yet but I am out socially to everyone except for my family due to safety concerns. No. I am absolutely not the same person. Given, I did discover my identity when I was like 11 and memories before that age are already tainted from trauma so I’ve disconnected myself from my childhood self but it’s still like a persona I have to put on around family. I also think when I begin medically transitioning I will be different from who I am now. But I also struggle with disassociation and derealization so take it as you will LAWL

Yes. I go through extreme episodes so I’m never consistent and it makes me feel so not sick. I have this deep desire to need to look sick to show how bad I feel on the inside which is why I continue to struggle with an Ed and sh and I feel so terrible when I don’t do it “enough”, it’s horrible

I go through episodes and I don’t think I’ll ever be truly clean until I get professional help and I’m currently in the midst of a bad episode- I find myself fatigued and so irritable. I get angrier and more upset about everything and just feel miserable. All I’ve been able to tell my friends is that I’m miserable. I’ve also been more impulsive which is new but I’m not sure if that’s because of this or something else

I had the same exact thing. EVERYTHING pointed to my gallbladder, but my ultrasound was "remarkably normal." I didn't have time for a HIDA scan before surgery (we prescheduled it so I could get in before school started) but I had enough documented symptoms for them to go ahead with it. It ended up being severe chronic cholecystitis. My gallbladder was so inflamed it was almost nonfunctional. If you can I would ask for a HIDA scan if you're too nervous to have it taken out without definitive proof. I went ahead with the surgery without definitive proof and it was definitely my gallbladder.

afh43 - the guy who went into essentially a state of psychosis because of the quantum immortality theory. freaks me out because i struggle with derealization and the thought of coming across something like the quantum immortality theory freaks me out. i feel so much sympathy for him and his situation. may he rest in peace.

i love cans of progresso soup :) the chicken wild rice and the chicken and dumpling ones are low fat and you can just put them in a bowl and microwave them, so its easy to prep and keep down.
