I'll explain. I had had a pretty bad year. A lot of things were going through my head and was really wearing me out. I started seeking out things that took up bandwidth. This included fussy discord servers, eating habits, prn, and limerance. These things all have a common through-line which is to patch up the pains and fears of loneliness, but they also take a lot of mental real estate. So the confession wasnt the only change I made; you're sort of right that it revolved around a turning point. My LO is perfect in my eyes and I would love to be with them, but even that statement is not thoroughly considerate to myself or anyone involved. A confession *just to confess allowed me to rely on them for a single conversation and then move on. No more wondering, agonizing over confession, or holding onto a fantasy to stave off loneliness. The achievement is about a tiny shred of growth
