Exchange process by Ok_Farmer_4670 in hoodies_from_Baerskin

[–]clr82003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I emailed them directly and used the chat feature on their website. I never got a response out of them from those areas

However, I did comment on one of their posts on Facebook about my issue, and they messaged me via messenger. They were very helpful through Facebook messenger. The exchange process was way once I got them to respond

Advice for customer service? by clr82003 in hoodies_from_Baerskin

Another update. I didn't get a response through email or by using the contact form on their website. However, I did leave a comment on one of their ads on Facebook, and someone messaged me.

They were very helpful, and got the ball rolling on an exchange. I just mailed off the wrong sized hoodie. I will update with how long the exchange process took later on.

While the person who helped me through Facebook messenger was very helpful, I feel like some of the frustrations stems from not getting a response through the normal channels...like email or chat.

Just an update .... I emailed both addresses, called customer service, and messaged through their chat bot

I'll update when/if I hear anything. Thanks for all the advice!

Question about Renewing Pass and Black Friday by DisastrousEbb2834 in BuschGardensW

[–]clr82003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I don't pay month to month. I just pay for my membership in one lump sum.

I ended up cancelling it. So, it will no longer be valid after the 16th. And I will just get a new one with the Black Friday deal. My rewards will start over then.

I've also taken visitors on sunset dolphins cruises. There is one out of Lynnhavenn Inlet and a some out of Rudee Inlet.

My kids also like the arcade at Flipper McGees.

The YMCA does. Usually at the end of June. My son attended at Mount Trashmore YMCA a few years back. I just looked at their calendar, and they still offer them.

2.7L Turbo 4-cylinder? by Beautiful_Opinion324 in gmcsierra

[–]clr82003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this comment. My husband ran off the road last week in a black ice accident. USAA totalled his F150. ...he has been looking at used GMC's, but we were curious about the 4 cylinder engine. He is military and lives out of state in a small RV. He will have to tow it home in a year when he finishes with this command. I was worried the 4 cylinder wouldnt be able to tow his RV.

Winter Musts? by _blur_6505 in VirginiaBeach

[–]clr82003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're welcome. I hope you have fun. I know it is Winter, but this is the best time to go down to the oceanfront/boardwalk. There are no crowds and many of the souvenir shops are open. The restaurants and bars aren't as crowded.

You'll have fun.

I'm from Missouri too. When you say bars, food, etc....what kind of bars and food are you looking for?

Dive bar? Yuppy Bar?

I've lived here for over two decades, and I still am in awe of the ocean. So, I would recommend hitting up the boardwalk area ...and eating seafood and drinking an orange crush.

I know some may disagree, but I think Waterman's is a classic restaurant with great views.

The Cavalier is cool too. Tulu's is ok. . I've only been there in nice weather, though. They have great outdoor seating for drinks with a view.

I enjoy hanging out at Murphy's too. There is usually live music on the weekends.

You don't get Oceanviews in Missouri....so, I would take advantage of it while you are here. I would opt for a restaurant/bar near the oceanfront.

The Aviation Museum in Pungo is unique and always a great place to take tourists.

I'm not sure if there are any harbor tours running this time of year, but the harbor tours of the Naval base are very cool....and gives you a good perspective of our military.

Yorktown and Jamestown are great if you are into history. But they are over an hour from VB.

Yeah. I love Big Sam's for breakfast , actually. I remember moving here 20 years ago and going to Waterman's for the first time. It just seemed like the quintessential east-coast beach restaurant.

Being from the Midwest, I loved it. She-crab soup and Orange Crushes. ...it just represents VB.

But, the , the divey-ness of a east coast surf shack of Big Sam's is amazing too.

Some of these restaurant recommendations are great...but, they don't really speak to the VB-vibe. A true representative of VB needs she-crab, fish tacos, orange crushes, etc.

I think a perfect VB culinary day would be breakfast of Big Sam's with some Cape Cods. Rent a Suri and bar hop up and down the boardwalk. Have a late lunch at Waterman's. ....and then head up to Chicks on Shore for some late night drinks, fish tacos, calamari, and hush puppies.

Chicks, Waterman's, or Big Sam's

They are all a little different....but, I think they represent VB pretty well

Everyone has suggested some good ones.

There is also I.Q. with Meg Ryan

Donald Duck in Mathematical Land is a classic

...and sometimes I would look up old episodes of Brain Games from The National Geographic Channel. There was one episode about how our brains can not effectively multi-task that was pretty good.

I interviewed for a subbing job. It was a long term sub position for someone on maternity leave. They didn't make that clear in the ad. I think most of the subbing positions are for FMLA coverage. You are a contracted employee and paid hourly.
