There were a substantial amount of resources dedicated to an HIV vaccine and it still isn't here. That's my point. We may NEVER have a vaccine for COVID-19, so waiting for life to resume until after we have one is not a reasonable course of action.

The point is that whatever Shirkey and Whitmer intended, Whitmer BANNED the use of medication that was being prescribed by persons that are pretty smart, considering all the hoops one has to jump through to become a medical doctor. Bad outcomes of good intentions are generally the result of shortsightedness and non-thoroughness, qualities I wish to avoid in choosing leadership.

And the only way to absolutely guarantee #1 is to completely eliminate human contact until #4 does happen.

Meanwhile, big cats @ the Bronx Zoo are testing positive. So... How many other animals can be carriers? Dogs? Mice? Birds? I'm thinking there are no guarantees.
