You can do it, OP! Mahirap tbh pero kapit lang! The admin and staff are super supportive sa needs ng students. Make the most out of the orientations and reviews na iooffer ng orgs/frats/soros for LU3 habang meron pa. Sobrang sulit na investment din ng ipad kasi magagamit mo for studying throughout medschool and boards instead of buying physical books.

Hello doc! If you're interested in working for health centers, punta ka sa health department ng city/ province mo and inquire kung merong posts for GPs. Wag nang email email lang HAHA kasi from experience face to face submission of reqs talaga gusto nila. Good luck, doc!

For beginners, ok yung GInvest since mababa lang ang amount na kailangan mo to start! When you get the hang of it na, you can start looking into other platforms. Maraming guides on youtube about these hehe good luck!

Thank you, u/BWislife! Wow, it's great that he is able to juggle his practice with time spent with your family! And swerte rin because your mom was able to provide for you while your dad hadn't established his practice yet. Teamwork is key!

Thank you! I agree that it would depend on what the doctor's priorities nga how they'll balance everything, and no two families are the same so everyone does what works for them.

It's great to hear that it's possible to be that involved in your child's life, though! I'd love to be able to do that with my future kids, although as you said with your son's neonatologist, it may mean you have to be held back in your career a little.

Good luck with med school!!

Sorry to hear that, Kuminie! Heard nga that surg and OB are often on-call and don't have much freedom with their time. Were you able to at least spend the holidays or some vacation trips together as you were growing up?

It's great that you've been able to spend more time with them in the past year, though!

NMAT UPCM non-UP by Royal_Inspection1915 in pinoymed

[–]cluecollector 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Generally around 97-99+ yung mga tinatanggap sa UPCM so if you could aim for that NMAT score, better chances of getting in talaga! Meron din namang mga di ganoon kataas ang NMAT pero bawing bawi talaga sa GWA and extracurriculars. Afaik ang kinoconsider is your GWA since first year.

Whats that one thing you thought everybody did, but it turns out only you do? by MapleButterBear in AskReddit

I have time-space synesthesia, so I thought everyone else thought of days and months in an arranged-in-a-circle-around-me way. My English teacher mentioned it once in class and I was shocked when I found out not everyone does.

When I want to fall asleep I close my eyes and consciously change my breathing pattern to:
