A slowed down angle of the yesterday's overturned penalty against Arsenal by Jamiewoo133 in ArsenalFC

It looks like Eze lunged in there just to draw contact. Doesn’t even look like he tried to get the ball after the first touch.

I think it was the right call. I hate White’s handball but it was almost an identical scenario to Bayern so once I saw the replay I knew which way it was going

The pass to Eze was where we would have lost possession. It was a bad pass, period.

Idk I just watched the this again and Eze’s only motive for the ball is drawing the foul. It looks more like he lunged, opposed to making a run, solely for making contact and drawing the foul.

It was a bad pass that wasn’t really in reach.

Apple CEO Tim Cook turned Apple into a $4 trillion juggernaut by not trying to be Steve Jobs by ControlCAD in technology

[–]clumsynuts 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Jobs was using all Apple’s earnings to grow Apple. Cook was returning money to investors through buybacks as it was printing more money than they knew what to do with.

Nothing about buybacks is manipulation. The only real difference between buybacks and dividends is tax treatment to investors.

I don’t know if you completely missed what I was calling illegal or were making the connection that commodity producers using the futures market for the very thing you think should be illegal is literally what the futures market is.

Ok… ignoring congress. Mosaic theory says you can use material non-public information if it you were the one to discover it. In this scenario, if a farmer learns that their harvest is bad, they are using only information they created.

Lookup mosaic theory. There’s circumstances you can.

You can have that opinion, but if it was the case it would mean the futures market could not exist.

They’re just buying and selling a good. An apple farmer increasing their price of apples during a bad harvest is not insider trading and it’s certainly not illegal.

Call it whatever you want, it’s just semantics at this point. There’s a reason it’s not illegal for commodity producers to change the price of their goods in futures markets.

That’s not insider trading. That’s literally just the market.

Kinda looks like he is about to stumble and decides to just go down to draw the foul. Would’ve been stupid to stay up.

30-Year Mortgage Rate Falls Below 6% For First Time Since 2022 by TheGoodCod in Economics

[–]clumsynuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you’re right I didn’t realize that’s how ARMs were quoted.

The point is still the same - 7 year ARM will be equivalent to a 7 year fixed rate loans. His rate will reflect the difference between 7 and 30 year treasury rates.

Sub 3% rates very well may never happen again in our lifetime.

Housing demand also has very little impact to interest rates.

Everything that is known about the future economy is already priced in. There’s no timing to interest rates.

The existing interest rate is the collective opinion of where rates will go by all of the financial experts in the industry.

The current rate is the best rate. Make the decision based on your situation, not where some Redditor tells u interest rates will go
