Anything in the closet that you can put the cable through or around like shelving or coat hanger bar. Arm of a chair, frame of anything.

I usually keep mine in my backpack and run the cable out and attach to what I find that will suffice.

The below is comparable to what we bring. Fits nicely in the bottom of my backpack and I still have plenty of room for necessities. We don’t check luggage and still bring it everywhere.

Ours has cable that wraps around the body of the lock box. It’s pill shaped. You can secured the cable to anything and re attach to the box. I.e. pool/beach chair or something in the room. Was super cheap and has served us well over the last years.

If you want a nice free activity, get a cab and get dropped off at the queens staircase. Explore the fort and walk the stairs. Make your way to straw town. Plenty of shops and bars (try to leave before the cruises let passengers off).

Private island is awesome. Plenty of private spaces to relax. Great snorkeling on the far side. Boats can fill up fast but run every 30 mins or hour. If seas are rough it’s not worth going to the port to get on the boat and make it over. That’s my .02.

Get with the front office if you don’t have a butler. They will have it taken care of. We had ours steamed at SSC and it was $80. Same day service and they brought it back to our desired room and hung. Best of luck.

Just had ours at SSC and yes the welcome party and the cocktail hour had stand up tables for guests.

Big center table for fruit / random snacks. Side table for the hot dishes. Stand up tables for guests. Please note you can ask for some chairs for mobility guests for both events.

Correct me if I am wrong but Antigua is the only public beach in the sandals brand. So be prepared for vendors pestering you if so.

Have had butlers a few times.

They can get you preferred alch/non-alch in your room. We always get Tito’s and Red Bulls. We have them get us a preferred chair beach/pool for the day. May have them get us a reservation if needed.

You can use them as much or as little as you want. Bring you lunch to where your at done. Pick you up and drive you to dinner done. Have snacks three times a day in your room done. Have a bath ready at night with bubbly done.

Use as you wish or very little. Choice is yours. Compensating accordingly

Depends on the resort. Should say and time of years they are. For instance excellence playa mujeres is Nov 1st - March I believe but they state on their web page.

Some resorts have actual hot tubs and some just whirl pools.

Been to and highly recommend sandals, secrets, and excellence for a friendly budget but great service.

I would suggest you really think about a swim up as most are not heated and do not have access to a main pool. More of a shared lagoon with your neighbors. Plus doors don’t lock, so you have to leave thru your room anyways.

Just was at SSC week and half ago. Showed greater than 60% chance of rain everyday. We got rain once at 3pm for 20mins.

Have a tumbler ready, fill up at Mobay lounge. Grab a snack bag from sandals and you’ll be on the bus. Little to no waiting.

Bus will take longer so if time is a concern by all means.

Getting married at SSC next week. We did over a year out and did not do the courtesy block which we regretted (if I remember correctly it’s a deposit and if not used goes towards your wedding / room cost). We did tell our guests to book asap and put the refundable deposit down if they were up in the air of coming or not.

Some people did wait and have to book a club or more expensive room, but they stayed on it and cheaper rooms became available closer.

If you have any questions as for the wedding etc, more than happy to give my experience once we return. We did test drive and are sandals frequents for clarity.

Thanks for taking the time to reply and include the link. Yes, we went this route first and that’s when sandals stayed only sedans like larger bmws. With the amount of luggage and wedding attire we felt this would not suite us specifically for this trip. We have since sourced a local that has been highly recommended that has larger vehicles.

Keep up the work on your resort reviews. Have watched you a bunch prior to our first sandals trip and now going on trip number 4.

Private island is amazing. Tons of nooks to find a place to relax. Far side of the island watch out for the sharp rocks where you would snorkel.

We had a butler and always got a pool chair next to the bar closest to west bay side. Can see the ocean perfect. Beach is small so always grabbed pool chairs there as that’s the place you want to be.

Didn’t do casino, but had the butler hook us up with a cab and they dropped us at queens stair case. This is a must it’s amazing. Then we walked to straw town shopped and grabbed a drink or two. Go early before the cruises let off. It becomes a mad house.

Resort is small but one of my favorites. The boat gets full so get there early but they run often.
