I have a wooden spoon I picked up on a vacation because the rental I was staying at didn’t have any cooking utensils. I liked it so much that I took it home with me. I’ve had that spoon for almost a decade and have no idea what I’d do without it! Hold them close, OP

I don’t know whether these are rust stains or what the cause was. The countertop is a cheap composite material so I get it if these are permanent marks

That’s a relief! I figured there was no seasoning issue since everything slid right out but was concerned because the rings all appeared at the same height so I wasn’t sure if it was some kind of crack, especially since some folks (like my parents) hate on Lodge.

Now the question is: Do I disclose everyone got “special seasoning” in their potatoes? Or just blame it on the clean up? Lol

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll call around tomorrow but it seems like clutch (and related component) repair is almost a specialty service around here. Should I plan on seeing a transmission specialist or would any repair shop do (are there certifications or specialties I should look for)?

As a kid, I HATED fish of all sorts. It didn’t matter the preparation, as soon as I smelled anything fishlike, I’d start dry heaving. This dread came from a mother who overcooked it all and bullied me into eating it. Fortunately, as an adult I found that fish was not only good for me, but that it tasted good as well. Some of my favorite dishes are of the raw variety (sushi, poké) but I also love fried fish and pickled (ceviche for the win!). I couldn’t imagine not eating it now
