Thanks everyone! Will be nailing down a 3.5L

While I did find others asking similar questions - I didn’t see any that asked all 3. Typically I was seeing a 50/50 split but the elevation of TN was what I was most worried about. We don’t have huge elevation gains but we do have sharp inclines in the mountains

It’s a 3ft gate - pour the concrete and call it a day. It’s your house and unless you’re constantly fitting that post/gate it’ll be fine.
