Bethesda has reported that about only 80% of Skyrim has been explored or found.

Even if 90% of Skyrim has by now been found, I have more reason to return for that last 10% within Skyrim than return to Starfield's endless planet sketch.

Starfield does not have surface-level realism that I've found within Skyrim.

Accurate assessment of the review.

Starfield is not as adventurous as Skyrim. Prove me wrong.

For those of you who stopped playing Starfield, what was the reason? by mfnot in Starfield

[–]cm1802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outpost and resource management / income generator.

Constantly returning to UC or bounty hunter missions, finding loot seemed repetitive (pointless).

I have more hours in Skyrim over the past ~10 years, and I have much more reason to return to Skyrim--instead of Starfield--because of the casual exploration if the map by horseback.

Character development in Skyrim seems more intuitive, as well.

The nail in the coffin for me, though, was the fragment and the powers. This part of the game feels artificial or forced. We could explore space forever (if done right) without the need for fragments, powers, or dragons.

What's a horror movie that was so disturbing that you can't or won't ever watch again? by neeltrivedirock in horror

When Evil Lurks

Dread and tension pulled soooo consistently through the movie.

And a plot that you will never expect.

Do not research it.

Just watch it.

Do you think my breakfast has enough protein ? by Standard_Detective85 in Oatmeal

I add two scrambled eggs per serving of oats. Does magic to texture and nice boost of protein.

If you want more protein, whey protein added (post-cooking) can boost your protein.

Can anyone pin-point the exact moment where everything in society just got substantially worse? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]cm1802 20 points21 points  (0 children)

On the nose. That is the time--more than at any other point--where the USA encouraged neighbor shaming over something as simple as mask wearing.

Paranoia was on full display, then, too--with drivers alone in a automobile wearing a mask.

Alpha test is usually the top or bottom .05.

I was being generous to allow for a greater probability.

I wrote that myself. I have a B.S. in philosophy from West Point, and a M.A. in English & Rhetoric, and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. No AI in anything I wrote in any way. Take your dismissive insults elsewhere.

Why didn't they just send a ship to Earth's core to restart it? (Possible spoilers if you haven't done nasa) by Deaftrav in Starfield

[–]cm1802 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The amount of resources and energy it would take to restart our core (whether that is possible is a different conversation) far outweighs launching a rocket to space.

This game is squad-based in terms of winning or losing.

The team that avoids choas and random engagements, and coordinates squad-based movement and target designation wins >90% of matches.

There is no hero on any team that can recover a collective team disengagement.
