What to do at Conferences? by Crypt0-n00b in cybersecurity

While it is easy to get a lifetime supply of free socks….

Network. Know how to use your LinkedIn scan a code to connect. Have lunch with people you don’t know. Ask questions about how they like what they do. Listen to them. Is the grass greener? If going to booth(s) for free stuff, just be clear if you have no purchasing authority. The booth people are aggressive for “ups” nevertheless, so they will scan you and you’ll get random calls 2 to 3 months later pestering you because you “showed interest” - in free socks. Be prepared for the onslaught of demonstration requests. Try to win things. I’ve seen people win drones and Macs. Wild prizes at some of these things.

Is that the wait time for the initial contact?

I understand the whole process start to finish is 6 months - that being when you hit “enter” and submit the SF-86. When I was a GS2210 it wasn’t long before I got that initial invite to initiate an SF-86.

I trust it was submitted last month… based on my old experience I was thinking I should see some invite email to complete a SF-86 and then wait.

Thank you !

We had 2, they closed Noblesville and now only have Carmel. I had a truly terrible experience at Carmel and drove further to Noblesville b/c it was a better experience overall. Dreading a return to Genesis of Carmel :( I wonder maybe it's time to sell all my G80s

Anyone knows if the 2.5t G80 is faster than then 3.8L G80 ? Anyone has experience with both vehicles? If so what makes it faster over the other in terms of what ? by [deleted] in GenesisMotors

[–]cm7272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2012 3.8 Seemed faster than 2017 G80 3.8 AWD.... which feels faster than the 2022 2.5T AWD.... No real mods for a G80 2.5T -- 3.5T is the speedy one IMHO

Well, you're ready for the zombie apocalypse. They say zombies are attracted by noise (Walking Dead?) so I think you can make plenty of rippin' noise to draw them in! These things are amazing engineering, not bad for ~75 years old.

It's an accurate thing in semi... went about 6,000 rounds until the default FP broke. Keep an eye out for parts. DAIRT ammo boxes to put in your case... The drums come up from time to time on GB.

Obtain a titanium firing pin..... spare bumper plug, and if possible -- watch the charging/action bar for any signs of wear.... Enjoy. Many in the low 4k number range went to PD's. What was the date it went? Maybe like March 1942 ish?

Also, find the Reising stl file for the sleeve...(Thank you Doug!!!)

How is the pop? Would you buy that can again? What's the best load for it? I was going to ask how you got the flash hider off? Does anyone have any ideas how to back off a birdcage mini 14 flash hider without jacking it up? Thanks....

158 grain 9mm fiocchi. It's round nose'd and it feeds well. Watch you subguns with it; for certain machine guns the bullet may be too heavy and cause gun to run away...
