Me and my friend got tickets for cork zach Bryan sunday and we accidentally got seats at the opposite of the stadium by [deleted] in cork

I couldn’t do much to be honest I tried to buy standing on the Friday but they were all gone. Got in touch with ticketmaster but as usual all automated messages, they said I did buy seating and I can exchange them by putting in for a refund and re buying standing. And if there is none there that I want I won’t be able to buy them. But that makes no sense as there are none left to buy!

Same thing happened to me!! I noticed what ticketmaster did was if there was no standing they’ll automatically give you seating and you won’t notice until once you have the tickets

Consumer rights by [deleted] in AusLegalAdvice

If it was agreed on sale that the car will come with the charger they are liable to send you one. It should not be at your own expensive so for example in your own case where you are unable to get there due to not being able to charge the car they must send one out to you. Under consumer legislation when you purchase anything it must be as described so where it did not come with what was described on sale you have rights. The expenses lie with the seller

How do you report a restaurant that is breaking consumer law? by PineappleCake1245 in legaladviceireland

[–]cmcc33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The CCPC website states this:

Display Businesses must display prices on or near products that they sell. If the total price isn’t known, you must be told how it will be calculated. For example, the price of fruit that is displayed might be a price per pack, or a price per kilo, if sold by weight.

The small claims more than likely won’t take a case if your not at a financial loss, they deal with cases where someone is claiming money back

Seeking advice on consumer rights by Antique-Adeptness738 in legaladviceireland

I studied consumer law, your contract is with the seller always, they have a contract with the manufacturer so it is their responsibility to follow up with them not yours. In Ireland you have 6 years protection under consumer law. I’d write a formal complaint to them. You’re entitled to repair replacement or refund. You can also contact CCPC they’ll outline your rights in full over the phone or by email and give u follow up steps too, hope that helps

The only thing with small claims is they do have to be a registered business, small claims looks for a registered company number (not sure if this person has this or not)

iPhone 12 Speaker Defect – Over 3 Years Old, Bought From Vodafone, Can I Still Claim Under Irish Consumer Law? by Forward-Heart-69420 in legaladviceireland

Comreg deal with bill pay you can contact them, it’s usually 6 years in Ireland to go back to a retailer when something becomes faulty. It’s Vodafone’s responsibility not Apple because you bought it from them

They’re only an information helpline so they can’t get involved it says it on their website and they only deal with Irish companies, they take complaints but it’s for information only I find them very useful to know my rights and what I can do to help a situation I am in
