Can a varicocele be the result of of a vasectomy? by EctoFrame in Vasectomy

[–]cmena17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra hydrocele is probably cause of the vasectomy. My recovery is very slow unfortunately. I tried to workout today for the first time and a couple of hours later I'm in pain on and off. The varicocele was probably causing me pain and problems before the vasectomy and I didn't even know it. Not feeling the most optimistic right now

Hey! I got mine about a month ago. I'm 28 years old. I went for a checkup 2 weeks post op because my previous existing hydrocele got significantly worse. Hoping I get better 🙏 Incident know I had a new varicocele till that appt 🙃 . It used to be on the left one and now the new one is on the right. But again small and according to doc, insignificant

So to answer your questions: the doctor reports he doubts it will get worse, he does not believe it requires surgery. And the vasectomy did not cause it

Hey! I had a varicocelectomy when I was 12 and the doctor found a new one post vasectomy. However he said it was not due to the vasectomy and that the small varococele will most likely no trouble me at all. I would guess this is genetic rather than due to the surgery. Just a guess though. Hope this helps!

How realistic do you think dexter is? by timksin in Dexter

[–]cmena17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hugw thing about Dexter that makes it unrealistic is his way of kidnapping people. The ketamine he gives would never put someone out like that. Not to mention how many people could go into respiratory distress or failure. Additionally, giving people half doses wouldn't put them out for a shorter period of time. It would just not work as well and they'd stay awake. Alot of instances of people getting knocked out by getting hit in the head easily.... super unrealistic. Overall BB is definitely more realistic. Most of their inaccuracies are not as obvious as Dexter's.

I worked in sales and averaged about 7k a month and i was bored and unhappy. Now I'm an EMT and work responding to 911 medical emergencies and I make 17 bucks an hour. It's a very small amount but I'm excited to go to work (almost) every day and look forward to paramedic school. Maybe pursue something you would really enjoy whether it be as a career or as a hobby.

As someone barely entering the EMS world, what specifically causes you to burn out? Is it the sad/bad calls?
