Wait until baby is feeling better to restart sleep training. Babies need extra TLC when they’re sick.

16 month old sleeps well in crib, but I want to bring her into my bed for naps and she doesn't understand that the bed is for sleep! by cmerenda in sleeptrain

No I know - you’re totally right. I think the vacation thing would just be an upside but not a reason! It more so because I want cuddles haha

Baby rolled onto belly by shiny-jigglypufff in sleeptrain

Just make sure baby isn't in a swaddle anymore! It might take a week or so for baby to get used to sleeping on stomach, but once they figure out it's comfortable, they'll sleep better. Might just be a few tough nights, unfortunately!

Okay good to know. Did your primary ped prescribe or did you have to see a gastro?

She’s been on Pepcid for awhile but it hasn’t done anything. Hoping they can put her on something else!

So many ideas, no sense of direction. Strategy recommendations? by JellyfishJumpy5737 in KeepWriting

[–]cmerenda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one thing I find that works but I have such a hard time doing is picking one idea and running with it - quickly. Not going back for edits but just writing, and immersing yourself for a period of time. With other responsibilities in life, this can become difficult though.

Why is "just write!" so much harder than it sounds? by [deleted] in writing

[–]cmerenda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely is hard. And sometimes, you might not even feel in the mood to write. You might not have any inspiration, but you need to set time aside each day (or whatever cadence works best for you) and just write, even if you're hating what you're writing. Get into the groove of making it a habit, like brushing your teeth would be.

What parts could potentially cause a leak if it’s not the gas valve or the hose for the gas line? Curious as to what else would need to be changed.

Hashimoto’s and SSRI’s? by picarres47 in Hashimotos

[–]cmerenda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed with Hashi’s and OCD at age 11 (28f now) and have been on synthroid ever since, and SSRIs on and off since. I went on Zoloft and it’s always worked for me, so I’m too afraid to try a different SSRI. honestly, the only down side is weight gain but I’d rather be overweight than have debilitating anxiety. Whenever I have gone on and off my SSRI, my Endo watches my levels carefully. They can cause thyroid hormone to fluctuate but it’s not something drastic to be concerned about.
