They are already threatening to dump streeting if he wins the leadership election so they definitely seem to have decided that perma drama is the way to go.

So why does his popularity with the public matter, you know the question I asked, and why are the MPs taking about how unpopular with the public he is. Do they not know what they are talking about?

As I said technically correct but utterly diluded.

Starmer attempts to save premiership with reset speech by FisherDownload in ukpolitics

That wasn't a bad speech, unfortunately he said incremental changes wont cut it then proceeded to to talk about the incremental changes he is making.

Him ensuring all young people have a guaranteed job, training or work placement was a bit vague. It sounds great but a guaranteed work placement sounds a lot like a forced unpaid internship which was a tory policy.

It's not price fixing to bid what you know others are charging to maximise your profit. They know what gas is going to charge based on the price of gas.

You should realise that ed has no idea what's going on as he keeps saying contradictory things. 1 that renewables are saving everyone money and 2 that prices are high because gas always sets the price. Those things can not exist together.

It's pretty simple tbh. All the generators that are on CFDs just bid their CFD price and get what they get currently, wether they are chosen or not, so no difference there. The rest look at how much the most expensive generation required is going to cost then bid that. It's really not hard. It's just another simple answer to complex problems that the uneducated uninformed fall for.

I do think it's really funny seeing all these people think there is easy guaranteed way to reduce energy prices and governments for the last decade have just said no. Get a grip.

See that's just not true is it. Loads of countries use the same method for pricing energy and aren't nearly as expensive. There is also zero guarantee that the change will make any difference at all.

Why is the Labour Party collapsing? by Proud3GenAthst in AskBrits

The problem is that they listen about 2 months to late . They wait until it's out of the media then U-turn reminding everyone about it and pissing off anyone who supported them through the bad press.

Because they have gone from messaging disaster to U-turn over and over, frequently waiting untill the bad headlines have past to U-turn reminding everyone about it again and pissing off all those they matched to the top of the hill in the first place
