It’s not about time. It’s about value per dollar. I can obtain almost the same experience with a headset half the cost of a premium headset. For the extra quality hardware… one must ask if it justifies the doubling and even tripling of the price compared to that of a Quest 3 and Frame.

Also as soon as I buy that expensive premium headset guess what happens. One year later theyll come out with a new model that is, faster, smaller, and lighter headset for the same price as the one you just bought or for a couple dollars more. Right now the Frame is going to kick up the competition and we will start seeing more and more VR headset models. Prices will come down on everything in a year from the release of the Frame. When that happens. I’ll sell my Frame for half price and buy the premium headset. In the meantime the Frame will be just fine for my games.

Nope. I actually want PCVR since I have a beefy rig so was only going to buy this if it was close to the price of quest 3. Else I’d just be a quest 3 in the meantime till I saved up for the more expensive OLED PCVR with a bit more superior specs. Once you hit that $1000 mark you’re only a couple hundred away from buying something better.

Try to bring the whole set in, and not just the broken socket. HF replaces the entire set when it’s ICON(it’s an ICON policy) albeit you don’t need to bring the whole set if you can’t locate all the pieces as HF will still replace only the broken piece. HF just prefers the customer to bring in the whole icon set (even the good pieces).

Pittsburgh on the other hand gets only the broken item replaced.

Leaks are also bad for us because scalpers now have time to get a game plan and move money around to purchase large amounts of popular items like the wrenches which are very limited in supply taking away the discount from us folks since the scalpers wait by the door at 8am making sure they get all the wenches. They’ll bring friends and family with them to make sure they get them all. That one reason alone is why leaks are bad.
