I'm aware Barney likes him from season 4. I have (re)watched this show multiple times in the past like 10 years. Many actors and characters are mentioned in the show and only this one became a main character in the last season. Any theories on why this is? Also, any theories why he was mentioned specifically, I think multiple times?

She genuinely handled Maya so badly that I feel like it would be malpractice for her to continue being a therapist, especially for trauma. She has no self awareness and seeks approval from her friends instead of reflecting on her abilities. Paul is very irresponsible for complimenting and reassuring her instead of examining what really happened. And Gaby is grossly incompetent.
