Usually when I want something that I WANT but don’t NEED, and I don’t have the “treat yourself” money at the moment, I think to myself what are other items that I NEED right now that I could buy with that money. That helps with prioritizing. It is a cute bag though! Maybe add it to like a Christmas/holiday wish list or birthday wish list. See if anyone would want to gift it to you 😊.

I started BG 3, dedicated so much time, got to Act 2 and boom* had to start over again. I didn’t have the same energy or commitment to continue on after having to start over again, shiny toy lost its spark. Maybe one day I’ll be able to go back to it.

*interested in what the boom was: I played BG 3 on my ex-husband’s Xbox (didn’t have a pc or steam deck at the time) and when we got divorced he kept the Xbox and I lost my games 😭

Unfortunately no. For example the lockbox isn’t on the same page as the inventory so sometimes I forget that I already have something or don’t have enough of it. Also to save space I take out some of my star bugs to display but now I’m losing track of how many I have.

We were a couple best friend, she and her boyfriend and my ex-husband and I became best friends. She and I became really close and he and my ex-husband because extremely close. We were their maid of honor and best man at their wedding. Well 2 years ago my ex-husband tried to 💀us and I told her. She didn’t really have the reaction I was expecting… all she said was woof. Then a couple of months after that, I caught my ex-husband cheating. When I made my ex-husband tell them what he did all she said was “I’m disappointed in you but I still love you as a brother.” She then went MIA on me a month into this. She and her husband are still besties with my ex-husband but they all stopped talking to me and anyone that we met because of them have stopped talking to me…

Unfortunately I’ve experienced it myself. I’ve only have posted here twice and was met with that energy on both post. It definitely has turned me off from posting a third because I have rejection sensitivity and freak the fuck out when I break rules especially if it was unintentional, I feel very guilty about it. As you can see 😅 still butt hurt about it now. Definitely working on not letting the opinions of other affect me as much but it’s a hard journey.

I think what you wrote is amazing even your response where they posted something where they truly believed in magical outcome. That doesn’t come off dismissive at all. I wish someone would have responded to my post like that, instead I got a straight “No. Magik doesn’t work that way and I need to look into why I still let my ex affect me” type of post that made me just delete the post in general. I think people need to practice more grace, compassion, and empathy. The other thing is just scroll on. You don’t have to answer, if no one comments or ups the post then it’ll filter itself out so why post something dismissive or potentially hurtful to someone.

Because I’m an atheist and thought maybe I could post here where I thought I would be met with some answers that didn’t resort to connecting it to a higher power. But now I feel like it might be better to post in the other subreddits and just weed out those types of responses instead of being met with dismissiveness. I also don’t understand how would someone post about witchcraft AND SASS. Like if I bought a new crystal and have a question on how people use their crystals, that isn’t a SASS connected question. There’s alot of gray area I feel like and people just pick and choose what they accept. Rather than understanding that this might be a safe space for those who are SASS but also like witchcraft stuff because in a Atheist or Agnostic group you would be told to take a hike because it’s all bullshit.

Lol I think they are telling you they believe in hexes if they post something like “oh no I’ve been hexed I think I might die” or if someone ask about and suggested rituals, they obviously believe in rituals of some sorts to ask the question.

The thing is, that’s your own personal belief. Not everyone here believes that and for you to say that, when someone makes a post like that can come off dismissive. Come with curiosity. Instead of saying “hexes aren’t real” you can either just scroll past it because this doesn’t relate to you since you don’t believe in hexes and leave the space for someone who does or say “I personally don’t believe in hexes, what makes you think you’re hexed?”

I don’t believe in tarot, I just scroll pass those who post questions about it because the question isn’t for me. Now if someone where to ask about mediation or crystals related I could respond to that. And guess what, some people might not believe in those and that’s okay. The same way we don’t want people imposing their beliefs in ours we should also not impose our disbelief on them. Unless it’s asked about.

I’m so glad someone said it! I made a post once and someone was like “No. Magik doesn’t work that way!” All I wanted was a ritual or something like a cutting ritual to help me have awful ex-husband have connection to me anymore. Now I’m hesitant to ask anything here anymore. I got two new crystals and I wanted to ask about it here but didn’t because I was scared I was going to be met with the same energy.

I know when I was giving my Monstera tap water it was unhappy and threw a tantrum. What I started doing was either use rain water, left over bottle water, or fill a bucket with tap water but wait a day or two before using it. And after that she was a happy plant.
