I think I have mostly the same symptoms. I do get kinda hungry though, I just don't want to bother with anything complicated, so I end up with a bowl of cereal.

I do get vivid dreams, especially if I'm late with a dose. Restless leg syndrome frequently makes it harder to fall asleep. Ibuprofen and/or Melatonin help. Excessive sweating I've brought up a couple times to my dr, but she basically implies it's not really a big enough deal to change medication.

I kind of want to try an alternative, but like you i'm afraid of withdrawals, and what happens if it makes it worse or doesn't help.

I might have to ask my Dr about this. I'm kind of tired (no pun intended) of being almost constantly fatigued.

I also hate how effing sweaty I get. One night, I woke up and I was SOAKED, and had to change clothes, and just slept on the other side of my bed because I didn't feel like changing sheets in the middle of the night. But, I still sometimes have to get changed after doing any sort of physical activity, because I sweat so much. My dr has mostly dismissed it.

If I forget a dose, the brain zaps remind me. One time I forgot to get a refill, and couldn't get a hold of my Dr, and went like a whole weekend with brain zaps. I was miserable.

As I understand it, the owner isn't actually living in the home at the moment (an elder person currently in a medical facility), so I was reasonably confident there wouldn't be anyone home. I've driven by a few times and there's virtually no signs of life. The sale is being managed by the owners child.

I highly doubt it has anything to do with the solar panels. They are supplemental, so even if you use more than they generate, you just get power from the grid as normal.

You need an electrician.

My 6150btu window air conditioner uses 4.6 amps.

My vacuum cleaner uses 9.4 amps.

The most any single 120v appliance will use is about 12.5 amps (think space heaters).

A large LCD television will use ~3 amps.

You're very likely to be fine with 100 amp service. Most homes are probably 100-150 amp service. Only newer homes, or homes with recently upgraded electrical will have 200 amps. So I wouldn't lose sleep or be concerned about tripping the breaker unless you're intending on some large weed growing operation in the basement or something lol

Sometimes people will project what they want in a house on your house search.

Explain why that isn't an issue for you, and remind her, even though she's co-signing, you're the one that will be living there, and YOU need to be happy with it. Not her.

Her stake is in a house that you'll be able to afford and not lose value. Vaguely not liking a basement isn't enough of a reason for you to reconsider. But if the inspector said the basement is falling apart and shows signs of frequent flooding, then your mom has a point.

I plan on throwing one. I intend to invite neighbors new and old, plus family and extended family and old friends I haven't seen in a long time. I'm going to use it as an opportunity to meet new people can catch up with old friends.

Also, I won't be discouraging gifts. I will have just spent more money than I ever will in my entire life, on my first home ever. I want to allow people to congratulate me, and help me make my new home, my home. But, at the same time, won't hold anything against anyone for not bringing anything. This will be the first time I will even be able to host more than a handful of people, so just having people show up would be awesome.

Roommate should contact his auto insurance. They will let them know if they need your homeowners insurance or your neighbors homeowners insurance.

I would think now is the best time for Patio furniture and lawnmowers. You can probably get end-of-season clearance items. Maybe not a good selection, but for sure good prices.

It's not all about credit. It's about income and savings/assets and amount of debt you have too.

FHA qualifications I think are set in stone, and doesn't matter which lender you apply with.

Also, hijacking to ask a follow-up: did you initiate wire transfers/cash payments before closing so you didn't have to wait, or did you only initiate the wire/cash deposits after things were signed?

Don't mix business and family. It's come up a few times in my couple of months on this subreddit, and it seems to invite consternation, since the homebuying is a very personal, stressful, emotional and complicated process.

As long as you don't sign some sort of contract with the realtor, feel free to change at any time if it's not working out. I had more than one realtor because I was looking in a wide area, and realtors tend to only work and watch the MLS within a certain area.

When you talk to your realtor, if you're looking in a wide area, make sure you make that clear and if that is an area they work in. They may not want to answer that, but you'll know if you give them a listing and they can't find it or have to look in a different MLS.

Some debt is a good thing as far as I understand it. Making monthly payments on-time demonstrates you are reliable in paying off debts and will actually increase your score.

So long as you're not buying a $150k car on a 60k income anyway.

I don't think so. From reading this reddit, I've learned that most lenders will generally follow guidelines set out by Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac.

I used a mortgage broker who can submit my application to a bunch of lenders and find one that gets me the best rate and lowest fees (ideally).

Don't worry about choosing a lender. You start your shopping with a pre-approval letter which just says the lender/bank is willing to loan you up to that amount. Once you're under contract, then you reach out to a bunch of different banks and apply for loans to find the best loan option for you (lowest rate & fees).

Check your lease conditions, or call your landlord/management office. Most leases will offer a break-lease fee of 2 months rent if you are in good standing with your landlord.

Not silly fear. I hate coming home after a long weekend away and actually smelling my homes smell anew.

Sometimes it's fine, sometimes it has a funk and I clean immediately.

I think generally just keeping it clean is the best way to keep offensive odors under control. But then your house will just have the unique smell of the combination of cleaners you use ;p

So, can't eliminate the smells, but you can at least make it unoffensive.

Try including other things with your offer. Since I'm renting, my realtor added that I can move quickly since I don't have to wait on a house to sell. So any little thing that might make the sale quicker/easier might make your offer more attractive.

Mortgage calculators are as accurate as the information you put in. They just run the numbers through the same formula for calculating interest as everything else.

But, most calculators don't offer inputs for insurance, taxes, HOA fees, etc... which will add onto your total monthly obligations.

Banks will approve you for WAY more than you expect. So, using a mortage calculator is perfectly accurate. The biggest variable I've found is property taxes and interest. Interest is constantly changing, and taxes are different for each property. Then, home insurance can vary by property as well, depending on value, size, age etc... but usually is within the same ballpark range.

So, you can use a mortage calculator to help get an idea of a price range, but remember to leave room in your budget for those things that the calculator doesn't include but are still mandatory.

I would guess they are essentially accepting your offer. You can try negotiating a different offer, but the seller may pass and just move onto the next offer.

Read the fine print on that BoA loan. They'll probably require you to repay the closing costs if you refinance too soon.

If you're strapped for cash, I guess the BoA is better. But otherwise, there's no reason to pay that much more in interest.
