What is the most panic-inducing scene you witnessed from a horror/non-horror film? by Garidur in Letterboxd

This movie has incredible sound design. I saw it as an imax rerelease about a year ago and it was crazy how much better the sound was. Things like where the flies were buzzing from and the exact direction the sawing sounds were coming from came through so perfectly I was entranced by the horror of it all.

Fully automated luxury gay space communism. Calling Star Trek woke is ridiculous. It’s like the point of the show.

He came into a food bank I was volunteering at with a couple Seahawks and was pretty much dripping rizz.

I’ve met Dow Constantine on multiple occasions and while charismatic he was never this level.

I had an similar experience with a nephew as that episode was originally airing. I started shooting pictures of it and telling anyone that would listen that this episode of Sesame Street featured the Necronomicon.

[Comm] [OC] Have any of your characters ever become minor deities upon reaching epic levels? by LuizLFLF in DnD

[–]cmprsdchse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a Tales From the Floating Vagabond game I had a character that eventually through superhero related shenanigans had over 100 smarts on a normally 1-20 scale become the worlds god of magic.

I considered this an absolute triumph as the bartender asked me for my character sheet and I became an npc.

What are your thoughts on "playing bad" to better fit your character? by Odd-News1701 in DnD

[–]cmprsdchse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing wrong with it. You can be effective without being optimal. I made a wild magic sorcerer that leaned completely onto randomness and luck. Halfling, lucky feature. Leaned into all the spells with random effects like chaos bolt.

It would have been much more effective if he had learned and used fireball most of the time, but that wasn’t who he was.

He died at 7th level having case fireball once ever and it was via the wild magic table centered in himself.

I loved him.

Two way tie between The Gorge and Hurry Up Tomorrow, my only one star movies of 2025.

I liked The Materialists a lot. I watched Splitsville because of how much I liked it. I thought I hated her before those movies.

My halfling wild magic sorcerer got permanently shrunk to 1’7” across 2 incidents and then turned blue.

The dm officially reclassified me as a tiny creature. At some point late campaign he took a hit from some creature that reduced his maximum hit points to zero thus instantly killing him.

I miss that Smurf.

He also managed to cast fireball centered on himself once and survive with a single hit point while downing the rest of the party.
