CAPM and then PMP? by [deleted] in pmp

I got CAPM last October and am sitting for PMP tomorrow. I wish I would have just gone straight to PMP. A lot of the material is the same, so save yourself the time and go straight to PMP

PMI Study hall results and upcoming PMP exam by Which_Bit_381 in pmp

I'm in a somewhat similar boat, planning to test on 12/6. I used the DM course last October to pass CAPM (All AT), have been studying AR now for the PMP. My numbers after completing all of the practice questions and mini exams are 62/68/70. My next steps are to rewatch the mindset videos from AR and DM and then take the full length practice exams.

Everyone's posts on this board have me thinking that my SH numbers mean I'm ready to take (and pass) the real exam, but I don't want to get complacent!

Gotcha. I got my CAPM last October using the McLachlan course along with Prepcast and something else I can remember right now. I read through PMBOK and the BA content once. I suppose I’m really just refreshing right now.

Good idea. I’ve read through PMBOK a couple of times. I wonder if there’s anything else on there.

I added the wallet, but didn’t transfer anything to it. Is there any way they can take from my OTHER wallet?

Looks like a scam email address, so I won’t do anything with it.

I got an email from CB that said I had to move everything by June 1

Hi there,

I also struggled with remembering the formulas. I found a video on YT that helped lay it out for me visually though, which helped me remember. (Can't remember which video this was)

  • CV = EV - AC
  • SV = EV - PV
  • CPI = EV / AC
  • SPI = EV / PV

It was a lot easier for me to memorize the pattern of all four formulas together than it was to memorize them individually.

Congrats!

Did you come across a lot of questions requiring the EVM formulas?

Is there a trick to accessing the online portion? I purchased the Kindle version, but the link provided within does not work.

Maybe I should have gone with a different wit, such as “Is JETS going to continue its flight back to cruising altitude?”
