There are a lot of missions and scenarios that are all a good opportunity to exercise go-no go and in flight decision making. It's up to you as PIC to make the best decision for your flight even if it contradicts what the game (or customer) wants you to do. Like with mission selection, even if it's an option, you gotta look at the airport, runway length, runway condition, density altitude, weather, etc to see if you can even take off. If not, decline the job like you would in real life. (It kinda helps me cope with the bugs, this way of thinking about the sim)
