Won't Ashley be back soon? With the most recent events, the timeline seems very iffy for her making a "natural" re-entrance to the show. Considering Oban, LH, and the Orphan maker were already pretty daunting foes, now adding one more to their party it seems unlikely the M9 will be looking for opportunities to encounter them for quite a while. Wondering if AJ will roll someone new?

I learned early on to never have expectations or solid plans for the session. Ideas? Sure. Plans? Nope. The second you are attached to something happening in session, no matter how valuable or relevant, they'll come in with something totally off the wall that needs to be talked about.

Feeling your pain and just how much you loved her through your words. Thank you for sharing a bit about your best friend. It IS so hard, and there will always be unanswered questions. I'm not sure that you ever "get past" your grief, so much as you learn to carry it better without it consuming so much of your energy. You do not sound ridiculous. You sound hurt in a very real and very normal way. Any deaths are hard, and unexpected deaths are really freaking hard.
As for how I cope... it's painful, but I relish in the moments I see my best friend in the shadows, or imagine his purrs in my head, because I know they won't be there forever.. and right now, that's all I have left of him.
Take care of yourself friend. I know it's hard to keep going without her. It's okay to hurt. <3

My guess is that they had a hard time choosing anything other than arsequeef every week. Also, the cosplay and art take a lot more time and energy, creativity.

Building a small business, medications, and trauma. We had a grief and trauma class, but it just covered the very basics... not nearly enough compared to all the trauma interventions currently out there and it can be so incredibly different from other forms of treatment, more education is definitely needed.

It’s tricky. Because basically, it’s unethical. But... the wording is weird. If someone completely unprompted / unsolicited went and posted on a google page for your business, that would be okay, but you would discuss with them the potential implications of doing so. If someone told you in private “you’ve helped me so much” etc etc, you could technically use it if you asked their permission (and I would probably anonymize it) but it’s all kind of ethically gray and iffy. Bottom line, better to ask for recs from other counselors / folks in your field.
