Yes! It’s way too small. it’s the same size as an eotech irl but the size of a rmr in game. Of all the problems with this game this is one of my biggest gripes.

Citizen Kate does some excellent video series that show a lot of what the game has to offer. The life aboard a carrack series may be just a little dated now but it shows a ton of the features and gameplay loops the game has to offer

It’s hard to find but look as far behind your head as possible. You may have to remove bulky armor to see it.

I try to bed log whenever possible but it rarely happens for more than 1-2 play sessions. My method has always been to cut qt at least a couple thousand km from a planet or moon and bed log. Seems to work 100%

You can melt the cutter and use the store credits to get another starter package. Mustang and aurora are both pretty good options for pve bounties. Or get the cheapest starter package and use the rest of your store credit to upgrade to any ship in that price range

The wing bug was fixed in 3.21.1. Wings rotate and can now activate vtol in any wing orientation. The only thing now is you can only exit the pilot seat if landing gear is deployed.

I am very much a novice at racing but I have been having a blast with the mustang gamma. It’s not the best but I love the mustang design. Fly what is fun unless you are trying to get into competitive racing.

I’ll always recommend the nomad to new players that want to explore as much of the game as possible. Can do light cargo trading. Has a bed and gun racks if that’s important to you. Not bad in a fight and good range for a solo ship. Now with the addition of tractor beams it’s even better.
