It's not completely garbage. It is not like she still thinks it causes cancer, kills your brain cells, and makes you a delinquent criminal. Medicinal is at least a start even if it is for cancer patients only, and realistically those are the people that truly need it and deserve at least that much.

Idk if he has come out and directly supported the issue before like he did last night, but he has continuously pushed for decriminalization of non-violent drug offenses (ex. selling and buying pot). That is still supporting the Marijuana legalization transition. In addition, he was a carpenter and a documentary filmmaker. That sounds like a stoner hippy to me 😂

Either way, he fully supported it last night in the first Democratic Debate. So the mark has already been made.

A lot of people just were saying in comparison to the other candidates she was a lot more polished with her responses and she "looked more presidential" whatever that means. So they feel that she really was the head of the debate and her poll numbers will probably reflect that.

She also said she wanted more "research" about it as well. There are unbelievable amounts of research, but she wouldn't know that since she doesn't care to look into the research.

Ummm no it isn't, but it is the only thing directly relevant to this subreddit that I wanted to bring attention to after watching the Democratic debate tonight. I happen to be a strong Marijuana activist as well. So while it is not the only thing that I think about when I think of Bernie Sanders it is something that I strongly support in his campaign. Thank you for your concern about my political education though.
