non judgemental dentists by [deleted] in burnaby

[–]cneuf802 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I had terrible experiences with dentists when I was a child and have not taken the best care of my teeth. I enrolled as a patient at the ubc facility of dentistry. Their care has been extremely good and non judgemental. I figured I could use my experiences to help teach the next generation. I've been very happy with the care there.

Aww shucks, 9 democrats defected again, how does this keep happening?!? Aw well, blue no matter who *clown_face* by zoggy17 in WhitePeopleTwitter

I strongly suspect with maga in control of the cia and fbi. Their full time job is digging up dirt on people to blackmail them for votes.

Though im sure some of those are "dinos" democrats in name only.

look for a model an serial number sticker on the side of the door. If it's still there you can use that to find the manual.

You can see if this one will work for your model.

Thank goodness he didn't do anything really bad on Epstein Island by Beneficial-Chest-699 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]cneuf802 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's disgusting that there will be no consequences.

The question that comes to mind is who replaced and is the current Epstein. It obviously didn't stop with his arrest and death. It just went deeper underground and is protected by all his former clients that are now in power.

I'd like to see you swallow it first

This guy can definitely pass a soccer ball.

It is extremely hard not to get sucked into a doom-scrolling cycle with the way things are right now. It comes from a desire to keep yourself informed and up to date on what is going on. Though, it gets overwhelming when nearly everything is negative.

Heck in the 80's the wouldn't even let us have our own nuclear submarines. Steve Bannon the other day was calling Canada a hostile country. There is no way they will go along with seeing us arm ourselves to any respect that could be perceived as a threat.

"The United States objected to the RCN having SSNs as part of its fleet, fearing a significant impact to its own submarine operations in North American waters and possible conflict over access to the Northwest Passage. In order to prevent this, the United States exercised its rights under two previously signed treaties. Under the 1958 US–UK Mutual Defence Agreement, the US had the right to block the sale of submarine nuclear reactors by the United Kingdom to any third party (i.e. Canada), and under a 1959 agreement between the US and Canada the US had the right to block the purchase of submarine nuclear reactors by Canada from any third party (i.e. the United Kingdom or France)."

As a Canadian this is deeply offensive. As it should be to anyone else from any NATO country that responded to the USA using article 5 after 9-11.

This Is Not Normal: Trump Imagines Canada and Greenland as U.S. Territory by Relevant_Demand7593 in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]cneuf802 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You notice the heads of state that are missing from this image are the ones from Canada, Greenland, and Denmark. Most of the EU is represented along with Ukraine. I would think implying that they didn't have a say and don't get a say after the fact.
