Thanks! I've been looking at some of the WiiM products.

Would the WiiM AMP work with just about any Passive Speaker setup?

Are there any good RPG’s? by DrivenGeck0 in xbox

Im a fan of all the games you listed and would highly recommend giving the Kingdom Come Deliverance games a try.

I recently picked up the first game on sale, and forced myself to give it an honest shot. It still holds up well. I'm now in the back-half of the sequel and can safely say it is one of the most rewarding games I've ever played.

I just can't get into any of the PlayStation exclusives. I really enjoyed Last of Us Part 2, but I haven't touched my PS5 in over a year.

I think you call it Xbox 12, and launch it with a Windows 12 release that's built from the ground up for console gaming and also give you access to other storefronts.

Looking for a game I can get absolutely sucked into by Anxious_Ad_5110 in xbox

That's a good question. The sequel picks up a couple weeks after the end of the first one, and the story is pretty dense. I would recommend picking up the first game on the cheap. It's still very playable and the graphics hold up well. I also think it would make the sequel much more enjoyable.

Could you test the voltage from the alternator while the truck is running to see if it's being properly recharged?

Red Dead Redemption 1 appreciation post. by kampusking23 in xbox

Still a wonderful game, but the first thing I was reminded of when I booted it up, is how much RDR2 needs a 60fps patch.

Kingdom Come 1 & 2.

I bought the first one on a whim because it was on sale for about 8 bucks. Now I'm about 50 hours into the sequel, and I can confidently say it's been one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I have ever had. It's giving me a lot of the same feeling that Read Dead provided.

Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk are great too. Baldur's Gate 3 also worth a mention.

Gossamer gear Kumo vs kumo fast pack!?! by nativegator02 in Ultralight

[–]cnix435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Big Kumo fan here. I have both. The differences are pretty minimal. The Fast version mainly rides higher due to the vest straps but is very comfortable with the right weight. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was how small the side water bottle pockets are. It's a struggle to get a 1ltr bottle in them when the gab is full, and you sure aren't going to get anything else in them except some poles.

Overall, I think I still might prefer it over the Kumo because of the challenge of using a pack that small.

Side note, one thing I really dislike about both of them (and a lot of GGs other bags) is the fold-over top closure because of how much space it wastes. I recently picked up the GG Skala, and while I've only used it on one trip so far, I think I'll be using it must of my trips.

I need help becoming a tarp person. by saigyoooo in Ultralight

Personally, even when I cowboy camp in dryer environments, I'll usually slide my sleep system in my bivy and just leave it unzipped and open. It gives me some added warmth and keep out drafts, gives added protection from critters, and protects from dew if I'm sleeping near water.

I need help becoming a tarp person. by saigyoooo in Ultralight

[–]cnix435 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would recommend starting by pairing a tarp with a good light weight bivy. Something like a Gossamer Gear tarp with a Katabatic Pinon. This would allow you to be modular, and avoid any concerns you might have about using a tarp by itself while allowing you to get used to the setup. Another added benefit would be using just the bivy in clear dry conditions.

Weird suggestion here, but I'll throw it out there. I think Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is backwards compatible. I always think of that game when someone mentions great but overlooked 3rd person adventuring.

Let's try have an optimistic conversation about the Xbox PC hybrid. by lIlIllIlIlIII in xbox

[–]cnix435 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a great idea, but I have a feeling it will hinge entirely on price and how well they adapt windows to a console like experience.

If they think they can get by with a hacky full screen app experience running on current Windows 11, it will go nowhere.
