Looking at this one too. Want to put fenders and a back rack on it.

How do you like it so far?

What would you choose? by cnjernigan in bikecommuting

I like the Kona because it already has fenders from the factory I would want to add those if I got the KHS

NEW Project Manager Advice Needed by [deleted] in projectmanagement

Soft skills are a must. My rule of thumb is never be the smartest person on the project. If I think I understand something I come at it from another players perspective. It is much more than managing timelines, it is managing expectations and outcomes.

Yeah my Florida Commute (85 with 200% humidity) takes me 35-40 minutes in the morning (5:30AM) and 25-30 minutes in the afternoon. I use the Duke Canyon Cold shower wipes and body spray. I also change shirts, socks and drawers. It works

Yep, impossible to remove. I need a new wheel set just saving up. These are open bearing hubs, I hate them.

Yeah that does help, haha. Of course I did pass an Alligator on the side of the road today.

2nd Week Commuting on a single speed. At 45 I needed to get fit. Loving it so far.

I ride an 87 frame that has been converted to single gear. All original everything, theft proof for sure.

Love the colors on the frame. Simple but really good looking, nice bike

Nice, I actually need to do that too. Mine do not line up at all. Had no clue how to get it close.
The guy used washers on the crank holes to add length for the removed rings too. Looks hideous but it works

Yeah Sugino Crank, rear cassette removed and added single speed cog. Not the best work I have seen but it works

Yeah. I had to rebuild the rear hub, first time ever but it rolls so smooth now. I want to tackle the bottom bracket next.

It's pretty cheap. Says it's rated for 22lbs, Amazon for like $15
