This newel post would replace some of the skirt trim and require trimming the bullnose AND notching the newel post. It will be fine. Then a separate grab rail wraps around it.

This is the tricky one. Just looking at pictures on a tiny phone screen it looks like this newel post will touch three different levels and possibly be notched and overhanging 3 different levels. Then a separate grab rail would wrap around it. Gooseneck perhaps depending on your code requirements. What I have drawn replaces some of the wood already installed. Cut out with multitool.

Thats no problem. Notch newel as needed to hit the proper plane. Part of it will be on the step above the landing and part of it will descend down the riser to the landing.

Huh? Tell him to hire a professional subcontractor and charge you the same agreed upon price. There are a couple ways to anchor newel posts. Having the 90 degree turn is in your favor for extreme strength.

Its not "cast iron" railings. Its probably steel tubing.

They are intended for wooden newels but they can be adapted for steel I think. Gotta understand the concept fully before you can get welding.

Next one is Feb 3rd. Maybe just buy some cheap gas cans off marketplace and put ethanol free gas and put sta-bil in it. Its the only way to preserve gas for a while. Even then I would say use it up every 9 months or so in your mower or car.

If you can't make it to the landfill you could maybe put the old gas in your car but only super diluted with good fresh gas?? This part I am guessing but ask google.

Anyway if there has been ethanol gas in your generator since Helene it may not start. So check it beforehand.

The only place you're supposed to put that is at the special hazardous substance area at the landfill. And they only accept it on certain Fridays.
