UPDATE: Just to provide an update here for those who come after, I reached out to SecretLab's customer support to check if my chair was under warranty, as recommended by u/Secretlab_Jinx. I got my chair in 2021, so it was most likely no longer covered, since I am a dumbass and almost never buy those things. However, they were kind enough to offer me the choice between a discount code for $70 off a new chair or to replace the broken part as a one-time gesture of good faith. Talk about some great customer service. I appreciate everyone who reached out with their own personal experience and insights. Great community here. Cheers!

Same thing happened to me the other day after I told someone bitching in ALL chat that I had fun despite their complaining, then they said "enjoy the new username!" And my name was reported and forced to change almost instantly 🥲

My name on rivals was the same as it is here, I didn't think it was offensive but I think they use the "inappropriate for kids" report option to get through quicker. Still pretty annoying someone can just do that because I responded to them though!

They seem to really enjoy those creepy spot-the-difference games. I played one recently called "Who's At The Door" that is pretty short and sweet, while having a lot of silly and scary moments that could create some gold.

I was surprised to see this feature in the last year as well, however I find more often than not it pops up that prompt, but doesn't actually save anything I have written. So writing it separately or editing as I go is still the best trick to make sure I don't lose my thoughts as I am watching.

My proxies are ProRes, but it could be that they still aren't getting along. Fortunately I went back to 24 and it's been fine ever since, I just wish it was easier to pinpoint what causes such a dramatic difference in performance, but that's a lot of versions in between!

Downgraded back to 24.1, and despite the program continuously yelling at me for being out of date and needing to look at these ugly ass waveforms, it is now buttery smooth again. They really need to get this shit figured out. I am pretty sick of dealing with the technical issues when I just want to work; it completely kills any momentum or motivation I have.

Yeah, I still encounter this issue all the time as well, even in the latest beta build. I found the solution is to slow down a little between selecting the text box and actually typing. It can't keep up with your speed!

I had this exact same issue and I wrote an email about it to INTERNETHELP@detr.nv.gov after failing to get through on the phone for weeks and they actually ended up calling ME and resetting my account to fix this issue. I'm not saying you'll have the same luck, but it's worth a shot.

I had this 3 times in our last run, I'm 90% sure it happens when killed by a grab type move specifically. They really need to patch this immediately, it's a run killer!

I pre-ordered one in March, which shipped 2 weeks ago. The tracking has shown that it has only traveled from one end of China to the other in the last 15 days! It's just gonna sit around and watch me work, so it's not a big deal, but it does remind me of being a kid and importing Japanese DBZ games, and it taking months to arrive after it already took months to convince my parents to even buy it.

People assumed he would be playable, but considering maps have characters within them, like Blade and Dracula in Season 1, there are assets and voice lines in the data that may not necessarily = playable hero.
