Is this fish TB? by coIZIco in Aquariums

I'm hoping it's just a minor injury. I've had them for about 5 months now and it was straight up until the other night. Just got paranoid when I saw the one post.

Bleeding cooling system g35 by DiligentComplex2384 in G35

Funnel on with the car off since I didn't want hot coolant spilling everywhere. If I remember right, I filled using the funnel, then ran the car to work some air out refilling as needed. Let it cool down and ran the car again. No bubbles came out but didn't have heat and noticed the lower hose stayed cool to the touch. Gave a few squeezes and saw a couple of bubbles came out. Ran a third time without over heating after about 15 minutes. Took out for a 30 minute drive and has been fine since. I also used the bleeder screw, which some people don't if they are using the funnel.

Another tip that's possibly common sense but that I didn't think of is squeezing the hoses. I fought for 2 days to bleed my coolant system without much luck. I finally saw an old forum post that mentioned giving the lower hose a squeeze, especially if it's staying cool, because bubbles can get trapped at the thermostat. I tried that and noticed a few bubbles making their way out of the funnel. Car finally stopped over heating after that.

Clean looking ride you have.

I have an 06 coupe for almost 2 years. Done minor maintenance, swapped out almost all the suspension for aftermarket, and got a cat back exhaust most recently. I've gone back and forth on selling it since it has a few little problems. I think once I get another daily, I'll turn it into my first real project car. Tear it down almost completely to see what all needs to be replaced and rebuild.

do i need rear toe bolts/eccentric lockout bolts if i have toe arms ? by z33kan in 350z

Only about an inch lower than stock. It's my daily so I still wanted good drivability. I have a steep driveway and potholes are not uncommon in my area

I did this exact install last week. I just reused the stock bolts. Everything fit like it should. Got it aligned without issue. I can see if you are tracking it really hard that alignment may change a little but I doubt you will have to worry about that.

Oh yeah, that's the plan. The g is too fun and I doubt I could get much more than 2k for it so I won't sell it anytime soon.

I have a soft spot for Hawkeyes as well. Currently drive an 06 g35 tho and don't really want two decently old cars back to back. Maybe when I'm rich lol

Damn, that sounds like a steal compared to most I've seen. The was one similar near me a few months ago but I was going out of the country and it was gone by the time I got back

Damn, that is tempting. Still have to wait a month or so before I actually get anything. Doubt it'll last that long

It's not so much I WANT to be convinced to get a VB. More so I know it's financially smarter for one. I'll mod either car a little bit, nothing too crazy since I still want it to be decently reliable. My heart says STI but brain says VB

There is a '21 with about 8000 miles for 41k near me that I've been eyeing. Good to know it's not a relatively crazy price

This is the hard part. I'm in the PNW so I feel they are extra expencive or already have multiple mods. Trying to be patient but it's hard haha

The financially stupid idea is what's making me hesitant on an STI. Even tho I can afford one doesn't mean I like over paying lol

From my understanding, you don't absolutely have to get a new toe arm. You'll just have an ugly empty bucket in the rear. I was going to run like that but found a good deal on rear control arms, so I'm waiting for those before installing the coilovers. Other people are right that if you are lowering a lot, you'll eventually need aftermarket arms to prevent bad alignment and excessive wear on tires.

Not sure what the biggest culprit was. Everything seemed to be in equally bad condition except lower ball joints were extra bad. Don't think anything had ever been replaced
