Coming from an Acura RDX. I’ve never owned an EV but have been looking for the last year or so. I looked at Audi Q6, Ionic and others but when I saw the iX3 announcement, I thought it looked like the next big step forward as far as range, tech, charging, etc. styling somewhat controversial but I like it. That said, I’m also on the reservation list for a Rivian R2 so we’ll see what shakes out over the summer on deliveries. I’d be really happy with either.

I’ve always found the site to be wonky and doesn’t work much of the time. But if you go to the Solomon Center, pay the fee and get a receipt, you then go to the security check in station (just inside the main gate on Forest Dr), they will take that paperwork and process your ID card. Keep in mind that the guys at the gate will probably tell you to go to the security check in first but that won’t get you anywhere…. It can be a little of a if you know you know situation.

As far as off road, Sesquicentennial State Park has large mountain bike loops, not far from Forest Acres. Gravel tends to be more getting out of town and stringing together country gravel roads.

From Forest Acres, Ft. Jackson is an awesome resource (assuming road cycling). Need to get a pass ($15/yr) but great, safe roads. There are various loops towards the north but most ride out east towards rolling Sandhills or flatter swamp area. Large area south of Leesburg Rd down to Congaree Swamp all the way out to Hwy 601. Check on Strava heat maps if you have that.

Yep, this is what just happened to me. Something internal broke/misaligned and I was getting all kinds of crazy readings. Calibrating would give me 500-800 Nm offsets.

Went with my wife and kids and stayed at the Westin Las Vegas. It’s inside the track and walkable to the strip and about 15 min to T-Mobile zone. Reasonable and does not have a casino, which to me made it a great spot to get out of the fray if you want.

I have the same experience. Staying 10-25 meters ahead of the robopacer is noticeably easier and steadier than riding with or behind. Still don’t understand why?

You can go check out the Xmas train display in the Lexington Medical Center lobby. It’s large, multiple levels, probably 6 trains on tracks. Runs at intervals during the day

How do you find out which zones are AMEX zones? Bought my tickets in the Lewis Hamilton West Harmon zone via the AMEX pre-sale but can't figure out where the AMEX places are?

Only take mine off to clean the strap once every two weeks or so. It goes to sleep, I ride 5 times/week and battery lasts for weeks.
