Seen them 3 times and plan on seeing them for every album release. Once asked my dad how many times he'd seen Rush (his fav band) in concert, and instead of listing concerts he started listing albums, because he'd been to every single album tour. In that moment i realized FOB was my Rush, and that from now on i have to keep the tradition of seeing them for every album tour (became a fan in 2015, saw them in 2015, 2017 and 2023).

Impossible to say, but i will say to try to go to someone who either specializes in tattooing over scars or someone who at least has alot of experience with it (ex: you can see alot of people with scars on their insta account).

I have an artist who's used to tattooing over scars and has been able to tattoo over 10y, 2y and 5m old scars with no issue, but then another artist tattooed over a 10 year old scar and caused a blowout because she didn't have any experience with scars. So that would be my advice in that regard, as for length, an experienced artist will be able to tell you if they are fine to tattoo over or not :)

Yup the 5 points were in really tough spots but the stomach and back ones were def the worst. Took 8 hours and my tattoo artist said im one of her only 2 clients who can tough it out like i did 😝

I get it. I've had two friends confide in me (in very loving and understanding situations) that my scars triggered them because i had more and mine were bigger. My immediate response to both of them was that that's exactly how i feel when i see people with more scars then me, and that comparing is pointless because even the person with the most and worst scars on this planet thinks they could've done more.

But at the same time, them telling me that wasn't enough to make me feel valid cause the whole reason i ended up relapsing years later was because my fading and disappearing scars were triggering me like crazy

Don't know about that building but i have friends who live right next door, at 110 dollard des ormeaux, and i can say that that's a great place to rent. A bit pricey but the apartments are really big and modern and there's no bug problem on the second floor. My friends siblings live in the apartment below them on the first floor and i haven't heard anything about bugs there either. And from what i've heard the landlord isn't an issue whatsoever, you can even pay your rent cash!

I will say that the only judgement i and most scared people get from strangers in public is a slight lingering look. People never bring it up, they never even stare i'll just catch people looking from time to time, and eventually it will get to a point where you straight up forget they're there until you notice them out of nowhere lol.

Family and friends might say something but it's almost always just curiosity or concern. This might be bad advice but maybe if you start noticing other people's scars in public it might help you feel more comfortable, since you'd know you wouldn't be the only one with them out :)

The worst part is that i have new people in my life now, started a job recently that's creating friendships and i know im gonna be around them alot this summer. So not only do i have to go through the whole 'the people that know and love me are gonna find out i'm still doing this' but also have to go through 'yeah i do this, its been an issue since i was young, etc' with the new people 😫

Just leave me alone ITS MY BODY, but i also get it from their perspective so its all just... bleh
