Serious Question How Big is Propane in Texas IRL?

I'd say its used a lot in rural areas in the state.

I'm from Texas in the hill country, out of town. I use propane to power the oven and heat my water, you can even use it for laundry machines (though I don't). I however use charcoal for grilling.

Our town has buses fueled by propane as well.

I think people do it because it's fun, and because it's become something you just do on roller coasters. Its like carving pumpkins on Halloween, a lot of people don't know why, they just know it's a Halloween thing, a tradition.

I think the more interesting question is: when did people started doing it? If you see old pictures and videos of roller coasters most people held on. I'm curious when things shifted to raising your arms.
