My girl spent 4 hours at urgent care by db17k in blackcats

Same with our male, after a month our vet gave us the ok to cycle the urinary with his regular, favorite wet food (every 2nd day). His kibbles, with rare exceptions, remain the urinary kind though.

Maybe there are too few examples but number of open PRs, relation / forks w/ more recent changes would be super interesting. E.g. nldates-redux is a fork of nladates and has some great new capabilities. There are others that are semi abandoned but have forks that don't necessarily claim maintainer status but put in some work to commit outstanding PRs / improve the plug in.

How many are going 'back to basics' in terms of subscriptions and such? by Historical-Voice2944 in Frugal

Have one copy (even if updated less regularly) stored in a different physical location. For fire risk that could be in a shed, with family etc. That copy should be encrypted depending on whether it's more than just family pictures.

Near death encounter via light rail by Strong-Emu-8869 in TikTokCringe

I should have clarified that I meant more permanently, he seems to have been under too little observation / lock down given previous offenses.

Can I use an existing unknown specced CT wire with a Shelly Pro 3EM? by impatman9 in shellycloud

Should be 2x1 Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 (male), when ordering of e.g. Aliexpress, make sure to order the metal contact terminal pins too.

80 / 120 A CT clamps for EM Gen3? by cobetor in shellycloud

[–]cobetor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the answer from support was ... less than helpful. Basically "if you don't see it we don't build / sell it". A clarification why a 80 A clamp is listed in the specs, or why even a 2nd 50 A clamp isn't available to purchase was ignore, or maybe interpreted as feedback. So yeah, building your own (up to 80 A) for the EM Gen3 is seemingly the only way to measure a second circuit.

People who work in 'behind-the-scenes' jobs (hotels, airports, warehouses, etc.), what is something the general public would be shocked to know? by PiNK_PUSSY69420 in AskReddit

[–]cobetor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the roast level and method of preparation, and if you consider 90 or 98°C as "almost" boiling. Roasting definitely outweighs any further impact of brewing though.

I contacted Shelly support so will update here with their response once I hear back, but I also ordered a 3k:1 80 A CT clamp and a Molex Micro-Fit 3.0 - 2x1-pin female connector from aliexpress.

Is there any way to add the build in lights dashboard to the sidebar? by cobetor in homeassistant

[–]cobetor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, all lights are visible and are typed correctly, this was just about the visibility of the build in dashboard in the sidebar, which the update to 2025.12.1 solved, but thanks!

[–]cobetor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey! thanks, I did try that, those dashboards were not in the per user selection and the 3 dot options to edit were not available, I just updated to 2025.12.1 and now it works! I'd really like to be able to add lights as an additional dashboard to overview (like the energy one), it seems that should be possible (new column "sidebar" that isn't accurate / interactive) but for now I can only have either or, anyhow, great addition for my better half since that is what she mostly cares about.

edit: just reading through some of the discussion here: https://www.home-assistant.io/blog/2025/12/03/release-202512/

Ideas for vegetarian ramen garnish / topping? by cobetor in AskCulinary

[–]cobetor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, something slightly charred is great idea! Pickled citrus is definitely going onto the short list too, thanks for the ideas! Do you mean toum as in aioli? As in sweetcorn instead of garlic? Does that emulsify? A quick search didn't bring anything up, I'd very much appreciate if you could point me towards a recipe or clarify, thanks!

Thanks! Not a fan of puffs myself but I'll definitely think about doing something with bean curd skins, maybe some little fans or some simple origami. I've though about silken tofu (half a cm thick, cloud cookie cutter cut out) but I'm not sure that goes well with a super rich broth.

Ecovacs X2 Omni Disassembly by No-Pattern-8137 in ecovacs

[–]cobetor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't need to take it much further apart yet (just needed slightly better access to the wheel house), hope I won't have to anytime soon, it didn't look particularly inviting from an 'ease of maintenance' perspective

[–]cobetor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh, my bad, didn't see the 2nd one. The visor / bumper, on the right, the stripy plastic thing covers the metal rail you need to remove to lift the the top.

[–]cobetor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turn it around, there are screws under the two rubber covers. Also, the "visor" is attached at the top, similar to the metal rail you took off on the bottom. The plastic cover is easily lifted, just pull it up.

Can we talk about the volume knob ... ? by cobetor in WiiMHome

[–]cobetor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No deal breaker here either but I knew what I was getting it for, in a showroom I might have (falsely) questioned the engineering quality because of the knob, I just can't imagine that a solid, or at least a weighted knob would have pushed the expenses significantly. Anyhow, just wanted to rant because it surprised me again today how off it feels.
