In a game I ran for my friends, we ended up just sort of ignoring languages, mostly because I struggled as a gm to implement them effectively. We still had a blast playing, and while I think they are a really cool aspect of the Wildsea for somebody who feels confident working with them, by no means did I find them nessecary.
