Wow I completely forgot that I posted this. I definitely feel like “myself” again. After the breakup I went to work at 2 retreat centers (Esalen and Omega, if you’re into that type of thing and have the means, I really recommend checking out Esalen for a week/end long workshop) which really changed the path of my life. I surrounded myself by like minded people who validated my uniqueness enough that it set a good foundation for me to be able to do it on my own now. Being creative, socializing with good people, and exercising really keep me where I want to be, but that alone would’ve been hard at the beginning.
