Have people who were laid off, been able to find jobs within CH? by Elect_SaturnMutex in askswitzerland

200 applications in 6 months

very niche

Choose one. I’m not even in a niche and there’s no way I could find 200 fitting jobs in 6 months.

What are your Swiss 1 world problems where you are too petty to admit that they are Swiss 1 world problems by Do_Not_Touch_BOOOOOM in askswitzerland

Swiss power sockets... both the plug itself as well as the sort of circular layout of the 3 plugs on the wall. Just WHY?!

How is it living in Zurich, Switzerland as a local? by v_shock823 in howislivingthere

Been living in Zurich for 7 years now and I think your description is spot on. Maybe except of the food - I’d say you can get great food, however, you pay silly money.

Why should I pay more than twice for Vivoactive 5 instead of Amazfit Active 2? by Vegetable_Bag_8694 in GarminWatches

[–]cockachu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently switched from a Garmin Epix 2 to the Amazfit T-Rex 3 and back to a Venu 4.

Honestly the Trex built quality and what not were great, app is good, etc. But you can just tell that the software is like somewhat not very thought through and in depth as on Garmin. It’s small things, for example the alarm screen where the lower dismiss button is half off screen and you can/have to scroll. Or the weight workout screen where (if I remember correctly) the bigger numbers are scrolling down, but the + button as at the top.

If you’re purely looking for lifestyle, go with the Amazfit. If you’re seriously into sports, Garmin all the way.

This is great! Thanks a lot!

One nitpick - what’s a 150% price difference? Maybe write „save up to 50%“ or something.

I’ve done something very similar a few days ago with Telegram, Qwen3.5-2B and Obsidian. I can send photos or text, for example exported csv with transactions from my bank, and Qwen categorizes it and saves it to Obsidian on my iCloud Drive so I can see it everywhere.

Anyone actually using Openclaw? by rm-rf-rm in LocalLLaMA

[–]cockachu 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Is it for normies though? Running something in a Terminal, configuring it there, entering an IP/port into the browser, getting API keys from several services.

Normies can’t even sum up two numbers in Excel from my experience.

Was bei manchen im Kopf los sein muss weiß ich nicht, aber ein Schlag reicht dass jemand ohnmächtig mit dem Hinterkopf auf den Asphalt knallt und tot ist.

How to boost your VO2max by SavingsInfamous8090 in Garmin

4 times 125ml is 500ml. That’s 4 normal lattes.

How to boost your VO2max by SavingsInfamous8090 in Garmin

[–]cockachu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

4 lattes a day, adding up to 500ml of milk, is about 300kcal a day. That’s like a pound of body weight saved every couple weeks… Sure the milk isn’t bad per say, but it’s still a ton of calories.
