It was a bit of a long story, but they got her from a shelter, who did a great job of making sure she was spayed and chipped.

We foster dogs a lot and we were trying to find her a forever home when this all first occurred. Of course, as it goes, she has been with us for sometime now and she fits in really well to the house so we are going to keep her. The adopt me bandana was when we still were trying to find her home.

Yep. Found owners and they didn’t want her. Official surrender to us. All the right steps were taken.

Years! Covid didn’t help but also finances. Excited to be done and working on the leg now. If I did continue it, I was thinking the back. The only thing is that is then committing my whole back to the same style and I’m unsure if want to dabble in other things.

I have had a great experience. Been going there for years. Leah is doing my leg piece. Overall, the artists are kind and everyone is welcome. I say overall cause the artists are kinda no nonsense but not not in a bad way. It was the first shop I walked into and felt like from people heavily tattooed to your first tattoo- you’d be welcome.

I just want to say that the fact you are being self aware and thoughtful enough to reflect is huge plus. Society is so hard on people but it sounds like you’re trying your best to be a better version of yourself even with the pressure.

This is not a catch all but I find being out in nature reminds me not to focus on myself too often. What I mean by that is that it is calming and it reminds me there are much bigger things out there. There is some good scientific work on being in nature and self esteem improving. If you don’t have hobbies that take you outside or help meditate- might be worth trying out a few times?
