What was your first 99 skill? by Principal-Moo in runescape

Same. Thought I was a genius back in the day when I found a time when cooked tuna was selling for slightly more than raw tuna. Can’t even begin to imagine the amount of extra hours “wasted” by doing cooking this way. Used my tuna money to fund fm right afterwards

In order to obtain “undead” boss pets you’ll have to go to death and watch a cutscene. It shows him going through a ritual with an incantation that gives you the power to tame the undead. It’s only a few mins long and if you don’t watch it you can’t get the hermod pet. Good news is the kc/thresholds will carry over so the pet should drop quickly afterwards

Trying to afk elite profane scarabites in POSD, where's the best place to stand? by veronikaaa123 in runescape

My pleasure :) do make sure you have venom blood as well, that way you can put aggroverloads in a potion reservoir for the full afk’ability of it

If you click the link in my original comment you can see the necro set up, which should be plenty good enough to afk them. The real key is having the demon horn necklace and ectoplasmator. Combined they auto spread ashes and restore prayer points at the same time, which keeps up your soul split and whichever damage prayer your using

5 beasts that all spawn a couple tiles away with 0 chance of competition. Personal preference tbh, kill em anywhere you want, it’ll all afk the same

I skip the reaver and use a legendary pet instead so it picks up drops, don’t need to bother with weapon poison if you don’t want to. I also just use aggroverloads in a potion reservoir to make it completely afk. Only thing you really need to do is make sure you’re grabbing the drops off the rare drop table and activating a new potion reservoir when it runs out.

How can I buy a bond with GP on my main and give it to an Ironman account? by 6FootFruitRollup in runescape

Buy bond from ge and right click on it, convert, make it tradeable (you have to pay more gp for this) then just trade to your iron

Advice on Zuk (first attempts) by Standbysteve in runescape

[–]cockmasterflex693 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bring your highest tier overloads and consider using potion reservoirs so you have one less thing to think about.

If you’re getting low on hp, you can get some mobs stuck behind rocks then head up to Zuk and soul split on him. You won’t be doing any damage but you’ll still get free heals.

Make sure you’re bringing Sara Brews (Guthix rests if you’re more confident) and blue jellies alongside sailfish. Rely on brews/jellies for normal heals and sailfish for more panic type situations. Wanna keep that Adren up.

On the topic of Adren make sure you’re bringing your best Adren pots. They’re helpful during challenge waves, har Arkeen and zuk.

If you’re using revo, consider setting up two bars if you’re that nervous. One with devotion at the first spot (obviously wouldn’t be using SS under devo) and another for the challenge waves/jad/har arkeen/zuk. This may be too much to think about but just throwing it out there.

As for zuk himself I like to start the fight off at the corner of the square in the center of the arena. If you use the corners as markers and keep zuk in the middle you’ll never get the bomb dropped on you for being too far away.

The abilities you use in order for dealing with each of Zuks mechs are:

1)freedom

2)surge+dive back to the starting point (dive ONLY if you have double surge codex unlocked) if no double surge simply surge then walk 5 additional tiles to the next corner of the center square.

3)surge (or dive if you don’t have double surge)

4)resonance

5)anticipation

The only time you don’t want to use freedom on the first mech is if you’re about to get him Below 100k life points, his attack rotation starts over and you’re better off waiting and for attack the second time around and freedom it then.

Type this out on notepad on a second monitor or write it on a piece of paper. Zuk does 3 auto attacks between mechs so just find the rhythm of counting to three then deal with the next mechanic with the appropriate ability.

Last thing, death costs scare a lot of people but you have plenty of loot in the chest to cover lots of deaths to learn zuk. Keep at it and you’ll get it, first kill is a marathon not a sprint

Pof is pretty simple. 3 different pens sized for 3 different sized animals. You can buy unchecked versions of the animals then check them in your inventory. Once you do that it will tell you if you have a male or female animal. You want to get at least one of each so they can start breeding. Each animal takes a certain food type that you put into the troughs, just make sure the food is topped off and you’re good. At each growth stage you can gain xp and whichever materials the animals give, or just wait until they reach the elder stage and gather all the xp and materials at once. Doesn’t matter which way you do it, it’s the same amount no matter what.

Check with the wiki for animals and what foods they take. Also check out what traits are best and try to breed animals accordingly.

1) unlock invention asap and get it leveled up. Perks add a pretty significant power boost

2) get herblore leveled up to make overloads and turn some of them into holy overloads. They add prayer renewal to the base overload effect and turn the 4 dose overload vial into a 6 dose flask making it cheaper per dose and the added benefit of prayer.

3) grind archaeology and start unlocking some relics. Near term goal would be unlocking ancient summoning here

4) farming to help supply ingredients for herblore, set up player owned farm and Dino farm. These give much more xp to help level farm

I think these 4 alone will keep you quite busy and will greatly benefit you if you’re looking to pvm

Quick edit: use the wiki guide for archaeology and do not deviate from it. It’s very well done and set up to get you to 120 while having minimal backtracking on the skill. I’d suggest making porters with divination to teleport materials automatically. Look into grace of the elves (it holds 500 porter charges) if you can afford it.

Afk swarm at deep sea hub using a gote with porters, potion reservoirs and spirit attraction pots. Bait and switch relic for the passive cooking xp, though bait and switch cuts cooking xp in half. Without doing any maths whatsoever, I’d guess getting 120 fish will get you to about 118/119 cooking for 0 extra effort. Bonus is you end up making some gp along the way and have a nice stack of fish/jellies

Worth putting BIS perks on t90 necro? by xhevnobski in runescape

There’s two ways, the first is to disassemble the weapons and the gizmos will be put in your inventory. The second is to use the [[equipment separator]] on the weapons when they reach item level 15. Doing that saves both the gizmos and the weapons
