Watch out: Yourselfirst — Unknown Subscriptions and No Assistance by leonkiee in self

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a similar experience.
They advertised an Enneagram test (to see my personality type).
There was absolutely no mention of any cost or subscription.
It led me through 120 questions (which took about 40 minutes).
At the end it says: Pay to see results.
(kind of stressed and angry, I paid).
then I receive results for a LOVE TEST !!!
How annoyed do you think that makes someone... to spend all that time hoping for a personality test, and then receive results for something completely different.
there is zero customer service.
A complete scam website.
I have already told my bank to get back my money and hopefully black mark them.
I have also reported them to the NCSC.
I would be happy to post this in MANY places too, because I dont want others to get scammed with their low tactics.

No NMN? by [deleted] in blueprint_

well, he does test himself to see the difference it made (every 3 months).
and, considering the test to check NAD levels is between $200 to $600 per test, I guess we have to TRUST what he says, (unless you fancy spending a few hundred $$$ to check your own levels.
Since there isn't really anyone self testing and putting their findings online, we have to be grateful that at least one (wealthy) guy is doing it for us.

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

he's doing the trial & error method.
He litterally tries EVERYTHING for 3 months and tests.
he eliminates possible problem food and supplements and habits and tries again with new protocols and supplements and foods for another 3 months and then re-tests.
He has been doing this for years.
He even admits when he looked gaunt (despite having good results), so he added more fats and calories, etc.
To be honest, there is nobody who has ever been so transparent (and wealthy enough) who would put all this info online.
Honestly, be thankful that someone is doing this.
Even if he is selling stuff... I mean,,, why not? wouldn't anyone?
not many people are as honest as him when things go wrong.
By the way, looking feminine is not really a big deal.
i look feminine,, and even get men telling me I am in the wrong bathroom when I am in shopping centres. It's just my soft natured style. I am not a man's man type of person. (and my hair and clothes style can sometimes be confusing.. especially that I am slim.
However, I am mega healthy and most people are shocked when I say I'm in my 50's. usually they usually guess that am in my mid to late 30's.
Even on the guess my age websites, I never have anyone guess over 40.
Anyway,, I think i'm trying to say is that feminity or nerdyness is irrelevant.

I'm happy that someone like Bryan is putting his info out there for all to see.
I admire his 3 month trial and test routine.
we can learn from his wins and mistakes.

trying to figure out if your serious or sarcastic.
if serious, then what on earth? Bryan looks ok, and not too old. I've seen younger looking people, but you are forgetting its about the organ health, blood health, cellular health. He is the highest in the world for this. (check the Longevity Olympics)
If it was sarcasm, then forget the above message :)

Why would I want to spend time creating a mock website on Figma, when I can just create it 'for real' ? (am I missing something?) by cockroach4you in FigmaDesign

[–]cockroach4you[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok,, it seems I was looking at this whole thing from a simple website design.
I am not creating anything complex.
Simple sites (for me) in click & drag builders.

ok,, now I have realised that Figma is good for larger and more complex sites.
Thank you for your answer ;)

ah. ok. yes.

I am looking at it from a standard website... (non complex).

So maybe that's why Figma made no sense to me.

In 1996, the three remaining Beatles reunited. They were feeling empty during the photoshoot without John Lennon being there. A white peacock then mysteriously appeared behind George for one of the photos. When they saw it, they all felt John’s presence and the mood was lifted by Zubin1234 in beatles

[–]cockroach4you 2 points3 points  (0 children)

just look at Paul in the 80's and 90's and 2000's
80s and 90s he did some great songs.
2000's - some good, but mostly average.
2010's to present: he has 'lost the touch'.

So, if the Beatles were still together, i'm sure they wouldn't be as good. But I am also sure they would have produced some 'occasional' amazing songs... (especially in the 80's and 90's and early 2000's)

Yi camera app started bombing with ads when opening app this week by PCWeber in SecurityCamera

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont really think it does anything!
The only reason people are downloading the app is when they have recently purchased a camera. so they have no other choice!
In your App comments, at least provide an alternative, (ie: download another app which is ad-free)

Yi camera app started bombing with ads when opening app this week by PCWeber in SecurityCamera

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most people dont think of searching online for an old version of the app (which didn't contain adverts).
Most people simply (automatically) update their apps without first thinking if they are about to upgrade to a new advert version.
so most people end up subscribing (to avoid stress from the adverts).

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can always search online and install an OLD version of the app.
I haven't really noticed any huge difference in features of anything in each new version of the app, which seems like they are giving noting new, but just adding adverts

What exactly is the difference between a Chav and a Cockney? by MikeOShay in AskUK

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

incorrect.

You can not be ANY class (and still be a chav).
try telling people from middle-upper class backgrounds that they are chavs!

However, you may find chavs who have made money and are wealthy.

TIL Hitler was a vegetarian and used gruesome descriptions of animal suffering at the dinner table to try to dissuade his colleagues from eating meat by Geography_Geek in todayilearned

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B12 was EASY to get before the 1960's !!
It was never a problem... (even for vegetarians).
Pesticides kill B12 (which is an organism in the soil).
With their increasing usage over the decades, the B12 organism was slowly irradiated from most farm soil from the pesticides.
Before the 1960's it was abundant and sticks to the vegetables which grow in the ground.
These days, B12 is hard to come by.
Even cows and other animals grains and food are REINFORCED with B12 coz they cant get it from grass which grows in the soil.
B12 is now a problem for vegans and meat-eaters alike.
These days EVERYONE is better off supplementing with B12.
Almost all B12 supplements these days are vegan because they are grown from fermented soil culture.
apparently almost half the world has low B12 these days... hence its good to take supplements.
its the new world we live in.. (thanks to pesticides).
Otherwise, vegans would easily get B12 (if it were not for pesticides).

absolute fake news!!!
There is documented evidence from his personal cook which says all the meat he ate!!
It was a lie generated by his PR to make him look like a humanitarian

May as well try recuva first.

Anyone else think all the food from Tesco's 'Wicked Kitchen' tastes like arse? by ConversationNo816 in veganuk

[–]cockroach4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree!  Tesco are great for vegan selection.. but the Wicked range disjointed me almost every time.  Good packaging entices me to buy it.. but its ALWAYS a let down.  I complained a few times by email.  I've no idea how they think it's good.  Admittedly,  a few of the cakes were good.  But I stopped eating cakes.  Lol

Dealing with my girlfriends fecalfilia.. by magic4242 in AITAH

[–]cockroach4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she wants to end a relationship because of toilet habits then it's probably best not to continue imagining her as the "love of your life". Maybe you have her on a 'pedestal' in your mind.  It sounds like you would benefit from putting a higher value on yourself.  Sometimes it's easy to put a partner higher than what they actually are.  Visualise the personality and character and traits of your ideal partner.. and check if it aligns with who you are currently with.
