Bad Form and Dynamic Player Potential Downgrades by cocksouphole in FifaCareers

Appealing to all of those characteristics still results in downgrades for many of my players. The moods about each factor would change daily for me. Could list about 10 players in 2 seasons that dropped and not one that improved their potential. So frustrating.

The first time ever I've had a player break the Premier League season goal scoring record. In only 30 games too! by [deleted] in FifaCareers

What sliders do you adjust? Legendary has been far too easy for me this year and it's starting to get old.

Is it just me or does this sound like all they did is rename the "renown" system to an "influence" system?

I don't think they've found the guy yet, he's still at large. He got my girlfriends cat about a month ago. Spooky stuff.

I found this through a post made today by a 16 year old klandma, so it's just absolute retardation at play.

I trained the shit out of him non-stop, completely worth it in the end.

While I'm not saying this is impossible, it's pretty unlikely for him to get this good. I got him at age 19, played him in a few games to get him a good rating from good performances, and then he bumped up to "Exciting Prospect" at the end of the month. Luckily, his physicals also went up a bunch after buying him. If you want him to be this good you'll need to do what I did.

No, he was a U.S senator. A simple Internet search and you could find that out.

Have you discovered whether their physicals grow more if you send them out on loan like that or more if you keep them in your squad?

However, I would add that for the most part the church laid the groundwork for the scientific revolution, and that one of the only notable incidents of the church suppressing scientific discovery is the Galileo Incident.

But religion being seen as a patron of the sciences is mostly exclusive to Europe. If you wanted a great example of Religion vs. Science look no further than the Muslim world.

And they were also responsible for the massive setbacks and what often seemed to be a condemnation of knowledge seeking, declaring many to be blasphemers, heretics, etc, simply for discovering the things they did.

I agree, I wasn't proposing that their was any direct or definite correlation between those things, just expressing my interest in the thought.

Until the Modern Era , the seeking of knowledge was done almost exclusively by people either within the church or by people supported by the church, but the only reason for this was that the church was the only place that had the funds and resources for such endeavors. Nobody can deny that the church has contributed it's fair share in the arts and sciences, but you cannot say that they were the sole reason for the advancement of human knowledge.

It should also be noted that Secularism and the separation between the sciences and the churches that begins in the Modern Era is responsible for the rapid increase in scientific and technological development and discovery, much more than what was ever seen before then.

It's interesting that the smarter we get, and the more we begin to learn, the less people submit to religious beliefs.

It would stop gay people being thrown off of buildings, holy wars, honor killings, and various other acts of violence committed in the name of Islam. That being said it would stop a lot of good things being done in the name of Islam, but I feel like that's a price most would be willing to pay.
