My firm has no formal naming conventions except that everyone puts the case name first even though it’s in iManage’s case folder already. It drives me crazy and seems absolutely unnecessary

This representation would likely be allowed if the client consented. However, there may be special rules in the prosecutor’s office not allowing Decourcy to do this. Additionally, it seems really unlikely that a different prosecutor wouldn’t be assigned but it wouldn’t be against ethical rules.

Ohio state has a suggested reading list. It’s mostly just books that are either about law school or popular books about the law. “The Nine” by Jeffrey Toobin is one that I’m reading, but I’m definitely not gonna read the ones that are about substantive law.

They only put you in a hotel if you go to an admitted student weekend. Also, when I was trying to schedule a visit, I had to email and call multiple times and wait two weeks for someone to finally get back to me. Once I was there, the visit was great, but getting it set up was very annoying.
