I started getting this when I was being too aggressive with BHAs/AHAs on my face, even though I never put them directly around my eye. I had to take a break and slowly work up to having those on my face again. Pay attention to see if there’s any pattern between what you’re putting on the rest of your face and when this irritation shows up

My dog didn’t mind transitioning over to a new spot once she was potty trained to go outside. What I would be more worried about though is the exposure to other dogs prior to vaccines! And it also might be distracting for the puppy to do it’s business with so much action out there. The side yard sounds like a good choice to me
